You meet two past Presidents: which one would you hug, and which would you punch, and why?

How often have you wished you could meet some past presidents, to sit in their company and hear first- hand tales of their time in office, especially the ones you admire? To give them a huge hug of appreciation.

And what about the ones who have drawn your anger because of their behaviour, weak policies, seeming selfishness or plain incompetence? To punch their lights out for being so crass.

Well, now you have the chance to select the ones you wish to meet and deliver the appropriate justice. The only provision is that you must give the reason why you are dishing the dirt or the praise so we can all be wiser.

This is a fascinating question for me, because there are so many presidents to choose from. Not being an American, I would love to meet all of them, but my chosen two, after a very hard deliberation, would be:

1. HUG: Abraham Lincoln. He seems such a kindly, empathetic man who has made such an impact down the centuries. I suppose the fact that he was also assassinated has given him even greater mystery in my eyes. I would love to talk to him.

2. PUNCH: Bill Clinton: Only because I adored this president up until he spoiled it by switching the position of his brains and got involved with Monica Lewinsky. I used to love to hear his speeches and thought, what a great, scrumptious president. And then...:o) 

I guess we can't have it all.
