Once again, the Eurovision Song Contest has rolled around. It is being held in Lisbon, Portugal, because that country deservedly won it last year.
There are 26 songs in the Grand Final, reduced from 45 entries, and the competition is really fierce this year, with some excellent songs in contention.
I am an avid fan of anything that brings people together, so I love the Eurovision, especially as it can be very entertaining in costumes and antics. The only thing I cannot understand is why Australia has taken up residence in it. When did it become part of Europe?
My chosen top seven songs, from which I believe the winner will be chosen, are:
Albania
Czech Republic
Denmark
France
Ireland
Spain
However, it is an unpredictable occasion, especially with the new voting rules, and Israel, Norway, UK or even Germany could sneak in!
Good Luck, UK, but may the best song wins! :o)
