Before we start with today´s entry I would like to heartfeltly thank @SGTHoc , who has very generously donated 1 Token to support this ongoing series. This 1 Token will be used to boost the post in hopes of reaching a wider audience.

● е is a transcendental number and one of the fundamental constants of mathematics. Known as Eulers constant, it has a value of approximately 2.71828182845904523536028747

● Its natural home is in mathematical analysis, and although engineers and physicists are happy to work with powers of ten and logarithms to the base ten, mathematicians almost always work with powers of е.

● These are known as natural logarithms.

● Like π, е has many definitions. It is the unique real number for which the derivative of the function е^x, the exponential function, is itself.

● It is a natural proportion in probability; and it has many representations in terms of infinite sums.

● e is intimately related to π, since trigonometric functions, which are often expressed using π, can also be defined using the exponential function.
