How Hollywood has destroyed my childhood.

Movie by movie, Hollywood is slowly destroying my childhood.

First: Star Wars. They kill off Han, Luke, and will in all likelihood kill off Leia. "Destroy History, burn it if you must."

Second: Star Trek. In three short movies, they've swept away 40 years of expansive stories and given us characters that are diametrically opposed to what they were.

Third: the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They spent 8 years building up a rich universe and with the latest movie, they've let the bad guy win and left no hope at all for a whole universe.

It's almost as if Hollywood doesn't know how to handle the rich history of what it's bought, so it wants to destroy everything and turn it into so much Dres.

To be honest, I'm so over hollywood and most movies.

In the words of Pink Floyd. "I'm just comfortably numb." and don't care anymore.
