A Nomad Song

I am in the middle of a creative project with The Caravanserai. We are co-creating a song together and here is what we have until now:

We are one,

in a sandstorm song.

Let us sip some tea,

under one same sun.

Silent sand, in our caravan,

might cover the sun but never our dance.

We are one,

all covered in sand,

journeying one by one,

walking hand in hand,

join our caravan, join our caravan...

We almost forgot what we were walking for...

Sorrow clouds might shade our lights,

but true light never stops its shine.

We almost forgot where we were coming from.

Being almost twins we walked away from our own brothers,

but we are still all the same, we end up finding one another.

We are one,

in the same full stream

able to dive in to pick up our wish.

We are one,

in a multicolored ocean,

full of multicolored lights,

welcoming every other wanderer.

No matter which our past.

No matter which our idols.

No matter where our dreams.

No matter which our fears.

We are one,

traveling alone

to find our way home.

Yet we were once told

that we never really left,

that we never crossed that door.

We are one,

born from one same birth,

born from one same child,

born from our same mom.

We almost forgot what we were walking for.

Sorrow clouds might shade our lights,

but true light never stops its shine.

We almost forgot where we were coming from.

Being almost twins we walked away from our own brothers,

but we are still all the same, we end up finding one another.

How can we help you, love,

to walk your way back home?

to trust your own song...

to follow your own dreams...

to find what no one found...

Walk your caravan,

walk your caravan...

How can we help you see

limits are imaginary,

that when you end the fight,

you end up finding peace.

What can we do for you?

We can share some tea

a deep sip of red sea,

under our eternal tents,

carpets covering our lands,

colored pillows giving rest

to our over-troubled heads...

Give them now some rest,

give them now some rest...

Love to all! :)
