Fifteen years ago an elderly man in my neighborhood passed away. I knew him for years since I was a kid. His family had an estate sale. I showed interest in a Bible and they decided to just give it to me. It seems to be a King James Bible decorated with Masonic symbols. The name inside the Bible is the old mans name and at first I thought it was his, but then it occurred to me that it may have been his fathers Bible because there's a ribbon dating to the early 20th century and he wasn't old enough, or even born at that time. Below are some of the pics I took of it.

The copyright is 1891, by A. J. Holman & Co.

The front displays a Maltese Cross.

The outer edges are a bit frayed.

Middle: Eye with three links in middle.  Above: Skull and Crossbones.  Right: Snake wrapped around something.  Below: Two hands shaking below another hand with heart in middle.  Left: On the left it looks like a bow and arrow.  Can't really identify it.

Ribbons found inside. I imagine Charter Member means he helped to found the particular lodge.

Ribbons found inside.  Garland Stove and Ranges, obviously in Detroit.  That doesn't seem Masonic to me.

I cloned out the persons name, lodge number and city.  I don't want angry Freemasons tracking me down to get thier Bible back.

The outer edges are getting frayed. I was thinking about taking it to a book repair shop one day to get it fixed. However the inside pages are pristine and in good shape.
