Right now you are using your phone or computer or tablet to read this article. Chances are that you use one of these forms of technology throughout the day while you are at work, school, home, or absolutely anywhere. When I was younger I had to rely on the Yellow Pages (that's how you used to look phone numbers up) to start my research, and them make dozens and dozens of phone calls to figure stuff out. I would go to the Library (which is that big place in many towns and on school campuses that are full of books) and spend hours flipping through the 'card catalog' to find the information that I needed. Yea, I'm from an era where we used the Dewey Decimal System....what!?
My parents used to tell me the most random little white lies to entertain themselves, and of course I would always take their musings as fact. I could never just bust out my phone and type something in and find out the truth, nor could I say "HEY ALEKSA" to prove that my father did or didn't truly invent Velcro while on a camping trip and covered with burrs, or that I was named after my uncle; Stevie Wonder (no...I'm not related to him. Just another thing not provable during my early years).
When I first learned how to play guitar I would have to ride my bicycle to the store to buy books, gear, and records or cds, then go home and try to figure out everything myself. We didn't have Google or YouTube or anything else to help teach and educate us besides OURSELVES and our motivation. It would take me hours and weeks to figure out chords and songs even with my motivation. There was no simple access to the consolidated information that I needed at the time and it was quite frustrating!
iPhones, cell phones, computers, SIRI, social media....we have so many ways to figure shit out now for ourselves! All we need is a little motivation and focus to get it done. We can't always rely on people wearing suits or posing in front of fancy cars to help us figure things out or know what to buy...or invest in! There is a world of information at your fingertips. Don't put all of your trust into others who say that they have done the research and all the thinking for you. Take the information that is shared and interpret yourself! Take your time!
This whole rant that you are reading is all about my perspective on Bitcoin, Litecoin and investing in cryptocurrency, altcoins, and tokens. Don't believe the hype (shout out Public Enemy) and all the buzz. You're in no rush to make a move...so make your moves very slowly! If you are reading this, you are already part of the ground floor of the CryptoVerse. Be proud and educated!
There is so much to learn. For real. So much. Read, ask, make some little mistakes, read and research!
