This is detailed analysis of The Left through the scope of The Culture War, British and American politics and a proposal as to what to do in the upcoming post-Social-Justice era.
Part One: The Culture War
The political left seems to be doing as much as humanly possible to make its fan base distrust and even hate it.
More moderate leftist comedians have been banned from university campuses, professors have been told to keep their political opinions to themselves if they don't fall left of Karl Marx's opinions, and ultimately the situation is terrible for what we would commonly term 'The Left.'
Many so-called leftists vouch for Social Justice politics over classical liberal politics. The average person could care less about Identity politics, and therefore Social Justice warriors are a vocal minority but are seemingly an increasing majority within the group we call The Left.
While The Left has its moderate members, many of them are very leftist still and support for example, the conviction of Count Dankula, the prosecution of people under hate speech laws, and even go so far as to support extremist groups *Cough Cough* Jeremy Corbyn.
While to some it is a question as to what we define as left and right, The Left themselves are making it extremely easy to understand what the difference is: The Left is those who stand for X Y and Z principles and policies, and as the years go on, the policies that fit X Y and Z are becoming more and more extreme.
Back in 2010 X Y and Z were women's rights, trans rights and humanitarianism. Now it's black superiority, the furtherance of women and denial of reality. What will it be tomorrow?
While many members stop short of violence, a vocal minority of around 100,000 people worldwide known as Antifa have been pushing Social Justice further and further towards violence and censorship of private events, which only shows how stupidly desperate they are.
Meanwhile, universities and colleges are slowly realising that identity politics doesn't sell well anymore and are slowly working towards a commitment to freedom of speech.
The problem with the internet is it is a great amplifier, but it's also like a bog, it will slow the argument down to the point of a crawl. In a trench, you either kill or are killed.
I suppose one unforeseen point about the internet is the fact that it saves us having to kill each other but instead costs us our lives in the slow crawl to consensus.
Meanwhile, there are topics within society that are too taboo to talk about due to leftist pressure. And every day that goes by that The Left continues to make subjects taboo is another day that the alt-right continue to grow.
Maybe there has been some progress, though because articles from the Far-Left are starting to show headlines that read something roughly like 'oh shit, we have to actually talk to people instead of cannibalising each other inside of our echo chamber.' This isn't the consensus within the alt-left.
So, what are the crimes of the Alt-Left/Social Justice side? They are destructive to the fabric of society, push Postmodernist ideals, consistently try to silence others and try to act as moral arbitrators.
They attack white people for having an identity they personally dislike, and once again, they run the media, our universities and schools, as well as our government.
They persistently preach the idea that the Gender Wage Gap isn't caused by women and men making individual, gender-specific choices along the lines of hours worked or profession, they deny that biological gender exists and assert thirteen billion other genders (it's not even an over statement, the number are exponential and you can identify as them all) and assert all of this as true.
By the way, misgendering people can get you arrested in the UK. Good luck playing those lottery odds.
Part Two: Comparison
The old left used to be about debate, free discourse and questioning extreme beliefs of all kinds. The new left wants simply to silence the extreme beliefs, provided of course that they aren't from a certain group. We all know what that group is.
The new left is intent on not only distracting us from dealing with real issues, but holding those involved in contempt as a racist or a Nazi for not dealing with what they deem as the most important issues. Unfortunately, again, those most important issues are silencing people and bashing people over the head with bike locks.
Now, people of course will say 'Ah, but not all.' and to that I say, of course it's not all of them, it's just many of them who wish to destroy discourse. And those few so happen to be running Hollywood, running our universities and running many parts of the government.
Over all, the new left is a group of tyrannical, hysterical and hyper emotional people focused entirely on victim politics and on generating attraction based not on merit, but on identity.
Part Three: Actual Politics
It's easy to talk about identity politics as if it isn't a part of actual politics, but remember, the discussions of today become the debates in parliament of tomorrow. Or in Dankula's case, the court cases of today become the legal precedent of tomorrow.
In British politics, Jeremy Corbyn and members of The UK Green Party have fully embraced identity politics, and Corbyn has embraced the notion 'For the many, not the few' as his slogan, as well as showing glowing support for socialist dictators such as Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela.
He's also proposed violating property ownership rights to rehome the homeless.
I'm sorry, Jeremy, but it's extremely unfortunate that we have homeless people, however stripping people of their hard-earned homes isn't a valid solution to this. In every society, there will be extremes of wealth and of power, some have no wealth and no power, but they do have the ability to control their destiny and if they choose not to take the steps towards becoming self-sustaining, start a family and get a decent job, that's their right to choose that option.
Giving the homeless our homes isn't going to fix the problem, because then you've still got a homeless person who now has a home. Do you think that person is going to love that home? Feel like they've earned it?
No. Part of the pleasure of owning things is the feeling that you've earned it. Denying the homeless the ability to use the welfare state to bolster themselves in society and to get a good job, thus paying back into the system is one of the most unforgiveable things you have ever stood for.
Not only is this an issue in the UK, but it's an issue world-wide; Socialism under the guise of Social Justice is currently marching forward. What it doesn't know is that this upcoming voting generation are statistically the most conservative generation in 25 years. The rally cries of socialism will be met with the steel, bold-faced disgust of conservatism.
And the worst thing is, you'll have deserved it, because all around the globe, people are being told that their identity isn't valid, that their existence is a pock mark on the earth and that we really ought to die out. We won't sit by and take that kind of shit any more.
The resistance to Social Justice and communism is also furthered by classical literature designed to destroy this kind of parasitic thinking, such as The Gulag Archipelago, Beyond Good and Evil by Friedrich Nietzsche, and many others.
We are resistant to this bullshit, and it's just a matter of time before labour kicks Corbyn out of leadership. If he keeps attending Anti-Jewish events, he might even be sharing a cell with Dankula. F to pay respect.
Over all, the state of British politics is shit, and continual efforts by the Labour party to make themselves electable are continuing to make them hated. The same is true of Hillary Clinton and Sanders over in America.
Part Four: What's Next?
Well the question as to what we do next is difficult, because it's hard to know what the hell tomorrow will look like. So, let me explore some possible outcomes.
In the case that the Alt-Left wins, we all rally as much as we can, take to the streets and fight for our freedom, the internet isn't anything close to as impactful as a physical rally. Failing that, well, I guess we're all going to the Gulag.
In the case that we win, we learn from the alt-left's mistakes, and we never make them again. We discard identity politics, and we discard their replacement, the Alt-Right. Yeah you really think they're not going to use the chance to piggy back on a victory? They're SJWs in reverse. But they're a topic for another post/video though.
What if it's a perpetual stalemate? Since Social Justice is a movement designed to work against any given system, it becomes a war of attrition, therefore we wait it out, stand our ground and we will win.
Well, what does victory even look like? Now that's a more difficult question. Victory to me looks like a lack of abuse against white people.
That is vague, and vagueness has historically always harmed a movement, and provided justification for a more extreme movement or ideology to take hold. So then we should focus on something concrete.
The removal of policies which express hatred towards white people, which actively discriminate against non-minorities and provide unmeritocratic and unlawful harm to individuals should be targeted.
Hate speech laws, Bill C16 in Canada, proposed limitations of press freedoms in the UK, every policy that restricts speech needs to be demolished. Islamophobia charges must be removed, because Islam isn't a race, it's a religion. And on the topic of religion, blasphemy laws must be removed.
All speech must be free with only one exception: incitement to do harm or intent to cause harm to another individual. That should be the only restriction in society, because violence is directly contrary to speech and speech designed to do violence leads to violence, but even this should be restricted very tightly.
There's about ten years of Leftist legislation to remove. I say we get working on it now. What then? We continue to run society and debate ideas, consider this past thirty years of Social Justice a preventable glitch in the system, and then prevent it.
Conclusion
Is The Left redeemable? Without a complete restructuring of the prevalent belief structure, no. Could a new left be generated? Only from the ashes of the old and dying left, in my opinion and that beast too would be corrupt and need to die.
This current Marxism obsessed left is exactly the reason we can't escape the Cold War battle we are still locked into on an ideological level.
Unless The Left completely abandons identity politics, it is unworkable. And any unworkable system can and must be torn down. Let freedom of speech reign strong and let us not fall into the same ideological traps of the Far-Left.
Thank you for listening.
