So, your Pastor is GREAT and extremely open to discussing all Biblical topics, or is he? How about the topic of a biblically based cosmology? Has he ever discussed with you, or your congregation, regarding what the Bible says about God's Creation?
Biblically speaking the earth is stationary and FLAT with a dome over our head. There are well over 200 verses that corroborate this reality, and NOT 1 verse which is contradictory to it.
The Biblical account of Creation testifies that the God of the Bible as being the one true God and leaves no man without excuse. (Romans 1)

The 9 verses you are about to read are just one important piece of the puzzle to understanding our cosmology, that earth is literally stationary and that it should NOT move. Each of the passages are taken from the Restoration Study Bible. I prefer the Restoration Study Bible simply because it contains the Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionary within it; thereby, making my "study" of God's word much more fluid and comprehensive, and NOT because I am an extremist "sacred namer."
