Dr. Danny R. Faulkner’s “Answers in Man”

Ken Ham’s organization, Answers in Genesis, has done an amazing job of completely disregarding answers about God’s Creation that are found directly in Genesis. Ironic, isn’t it. That’s right, an organization that operates in direct opposition to its suggested title. I sometimes wonder if Ham’s organization should be renamed to “Answers in Man.” Why?

Well, are you familiar with the Dr. Danny R. Faulkner?

As of late he has come onto my radar as a full fledged Christian Heliocentric defender and works with Answers in Genesis. Unfortunately, he attacks God’s account of Creation, which is found in Genesis, and defends man's account of Creation. The Biblical account of Creation details the most fundamental aspect of our existence, and it serves as the foundational premise for God proving himself as the one and only true God.

In Dr. Faulker’s article written May 24, 2016 and titled Is the Earth Flat?, he details the shape of the earth without referencing even 1 Bible passage. Again, he mirrors this same exact methodology of detailing the shape of the earth without referring to even 1 Bible passage in his article written March 2, 2018 and titled Opinions of the Earth’s Shape: Another Athlete and Roger Bacon.

Dr. Faulkner has yet to acknowledge that there is NOT even 1 Biblical passage that unambiguously states the earth as moving, not just trembling/shaking. Nor has he yet to acknowledge that there is NOT 1 Biblical passage that unambiguously states the earth to be spherically shaped.

I wonder if he is aware that there are well over 200 plus Bible scriptures which unambiguously detail the earth as being stationary and flat with a dome overhead?

You may be thinking, “What’s the big deal if the earth is or isn’t created exactly as the inspired authors of God’s Word have stated? As long as I believe in Jesus Christ, I’m going to Heaven anyways. What a futile and fruitless argument this “Nathan” guy is making. Doesn’t he have anything better to do than to stir up dissension amongst fellow believers over such a minuscule matter?”

First of all, you either believe God’s Word is inspired, written as God prescribed, and has been preserved as it has been translated to other versions over time (Psalm 12:7), or you do not. There is no way to partially agree with God’s Word and still remain fully confident in all of it. In fact, even David Platt, Founder of Secret Church, agrees with my assessment while also denying a Biblically based stationary and flat earth (so odd).

In fact, this globe earth deception has led, and continues to lead, many to the grave and straight to Hell because it convinced them that God does not exist. Yes, this heresy helped to create what we define as Atheism.

For others, this heresy has caused, and continues to cause, many to doubt the entire creditability and authority of God’s Word, and weakens their faith.

You recall what Jesus said about abiding in his word, and what it means to do so, and what it offers to him who does?

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:31-32

Here's the formula from the passage:

Continue in God's Word -> KNOW the Truth -> Be made FREE.

Which truth do you believe to be less important, or even irrelevant, that is found in God's Word? According to God's Word, truth makes us free. Who doesn't want to be free from the lies of this world?

If I told you that I were the inventor of cool new watch and I was unable to accurately articulate, without contradiction, the characteristics, attributes, and features of my alleged invention, would you still believe me to be the inventor? Of course not!

Just as similarly, if someone makes a claim to be the creator of earth and is unable to accurately articulate, without contradiction, the characteristics, attributes, and features of the earth, would you believe him? If this person made these claims and you believed them to be false, would you believe anything else coming from that person? Of course not!

In fact, this was the very case made by Frank Zindler, one of the leading Atheists and debaters, in the debate titled “Atheism vs. Christianity.” This is Mr. Zindler’s opening statement for the debate:

“As Science has grown Christianity has shrunken and many fundamental things in Christianity were obliterated centuries ago and Christianity hasn't quite realized it. It's sort of walking dead in my opinion. Let me give you some examples. With the development of astronomy the biblical system of the universe collapsed. The Bible describes a 3 story universe. Heaven is a solid hemisphere that arches over the earth. The raqia in Hebrew. The firmamenta in Latin. The firmament in the King James Bible. There was water above there that's why the sky is blue, and somewhere above that is the abode of Heaven and God and the angels. We are down here on this flat earth. The Bible is definitely a flat earth book. And below us in the sub-cellar is Sheol, or Hell. Now, with the development of telescopes and the discovery that the earth goes around the sun and that the earth is a sphere some very important biblical ideas were shattered…Remember the Devil supposedly took Jesus up onto a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world. Now, that will work if the earth is flat, but that won't work if the earth is a sphere.” - Frank Zindler, Atheist

The atheist in this debate provided a 100% accurate depiction of the Biblical account of Creation, and he added nothing to it and took nothing away. Unfortunately, most Christians do just the opposite when being confronted with the reality that the Bible is a “flat earth book.” They shy away from the topic, as Dr. Faulkner does, or completely dismiss the passages for mere metaphors and poetry, instead of, firmly standing on God’s Word.

If an atheist were to bring these same arguments to you today, do you know how you would respond? Would you dismiss these flat earth scriptures for mere metaphors and poetry? Or, would you attempt to redefine the meaning of the original words, and become an editor of God’s Word? If you were to take any one of these options, can you imagine how the Atheist would be thinking? He’d likely be thinking something along the lines of, “If this guy doesn’t even believe his God’s account of Creation, how does he believe any of the stuff in that book?

Dr. Faulkner wrote the following about Christians who believe that God’s Word is faithful and true, and that the earth is stationary and flat with a dome overhead:

“They could be well-intentioned but seriously misguided people.” - Dr. Faulkner

Dr. Faulkner is undoubtedly blind to the Biblical account of Creation. Unfortunately, he may be more effective at misleading, deliberately or accidentally, Christians towards a non-Biblical Cosmology than all the efforts combined of NASA, Elon Musk, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Bill Nye because he works for an organization that labels itself as “Answers in Genesis” without deriving the fullness of God's Creation from Genesis.

Dr. Faulkner appears to be the premiere and mainstream "Christian" gladiator when it comes to destroying a stationary and flat earth. To see all the damage he's been doing against God's Word on regarding Flat Earth Doctrine, click here.

What I find most interesting in the Flat Earth movement is that while everyone in the movement may not agree with who God is, they all acknowledge that a Creator does, in fact, exist. Furthermore, they all agree that secret societies, like Freemasonry and the Jesuits, are Satanic and evil and are at the helm of the New World Order and every government on the "face" of the earth.

I have yet to find 1 shred of evidence that anyone from Answers in Genesis has been outspoken against the New World Order that is unfolding before our eyes, nor have they been willing to speak out against these Satanic secret societies. I sure wish they would, as I believe it would begin to open other Christians up to the reality that many leaders in control of the government and large corporations have a much different agenda than what is being conveyed by the mass media.

A signed copy of my book, The Doctrine of the Shape of the Earth, has been provided to several of the Answers in Genesis team members, including: Don Landis (Chairman), Ken Ham, and Dr. Danny R. Faulkner. I pray God will use my book to help open their eyes to their grave err, and they repent and openly defend God’s Word in every respect as they are called, including, answers that are found in Genesis.

According to one of Dr. Faulkner's articles he will be attending the Flat Earth International Conference this 2018 being held in Denver, Colorado. Perhaps, I'll see him there?
