For many people, Spring is a magical time.
I don't mean party tricks and nonsense like that... I mean New birth, rebirth and the promise of another year.
People all over, gardeners predominantly, will be awash in hope that the fading winter is over, warmer temperatures are on the way and, in the case of gardeners specifically, that the winter hasn't killed off their plants.
A harsh winter can destroy a garden. I can still remember the devastation that the 2010 winter caused to my garden! I lost a lot of plants that year. Many bulbs failed to come up and even those that survived were on the back foot for a couple of years.
But all that aside... the joy of seeing a plant pushing its buds up, watching new growth coming through and planning the next growing year... It's just amazing!
Gardeners all around will be giddy with excitement about what they want to do and others will be chomping at the bit waiting for the last of the winter echoes to pass so they can get cracking on the incredibly long list of jobs that will need doing!
Personally I already have a bunch of jobs done... But there is still a lot to do, but all I can do now is hurry up and wait. I'm waiting for my tomatoes to come up, I'm waiting for some windowsill space to start other seeds.
And now that I got some more seeds from the wonderful @SerbianIceQueen, I now need to think about a whole new crop I had never even heard of!
And still, everything seems to be in the way of everything else! ARGH!!!
*Sigh*
I need to get the kettle on and try and relax! B-)
