The Trinity Of Pure Liberty Life - Property - Contracts

Violence is abhorrent. All individuals seek to avoid harm for that is part of our natural survival instinct. Those who wish to die, have the choice to do so at any time. It is therefore the natural right of every human being to not endure harm or physical suffering at the hands of any other human. The natural extension of this right is for humans to also be able to defend themselves from harm, or otherwise devise methods of self preservation.

Self preservation efforts may be as diverse as the thoughts and imaginations of every individual alive and as long as those efforts do not harm others, then it is your natural right to exercise those self preservation efforts whatever they may be. Self preservation efforts require at least two things if they are to be expressed freely by individuals.

In order to live, humans need to acquire food, shelter and anything else they deem necessary for survival. Man is not necessarily owed these things from others, but rather they have a natural right to obtain them however they wish as long as they do no harm to others. If anyone can simply take what another has already acquired, then nobody can own anything and everyone’s ability to survive is at risk, therefore theft is an act of violence against another even if it does not immediately result in physical harm.

In order to obtain those things men may deem important to their survival, men may need to cooperate with others. A contract is simply an agreement of cooperation. Person A will provide compensation to person B in exchange for something person A deems of value. If one of the parties fails to deliver on this promise, then they have deprived the other without offering the expected compensation. This is no different than theft in that the deprivation of property is harmful to the other parties ability to survive.

No other laws are necessary save those that protect life, property and the enforcement of contracts. In fact any laws that do not conform to this trinity will require enforcement that will result in violence and that violence is to be considered unjustified since the law being enforced does not protect a natural right, but rather the wishes of those who wrote and endorsed the law. Regulations do not protect, they assume that one is guilty of harming another even though no such harm has been done. If one must live according to regulations, then one is not free. The same holds for taxes. If any government may collect what you have earned through your effort, they are therefore depriving you of your ability to survive so that they can further their means of survival. How is this not theft? Finally, if there is to be any governmental enforcement of these three natural rights, it should be done at the cost of the guilty, not the innocent.
