Do they really know?

Friends and family are like perky breasts; you never really know how lucky you are or how important they really are to your life, until they are gone forever.

Somehow you're incapable of knowing their true worth while they are around. Yet, BOOM!! The very minute you lose them it all sort of just clicks together. Even if the basis of the relationship; say with a distant cousin, is merely you venting about your un-pleasable boss, because your " real friends " don't want to hear it anymore. Don't underestimate how attached to them you really are, your need of their relationship.

You don't have to get all creepy-deep with it, and coin a phrase like " bromance " or anything like that; just to get your point across. But you do have to tell them in person, it is the most meaningful way. Most importantly you must definitely, definitely tell everyone in your life how much you appreciate and love them, and do it often. They need to hear it more then you think.

You simply can not grasp the degree of sadness and guilt you will feel when they are gone, if you allow them to pass without saying the things you should. I am guilty of these things and will probably never get use to that feeling.

So, I hope that no one has to go not knowing and that everyone is told that they are loved
