To Evolve or not to evolve, that is the question...
Hello lovely Minds community. After multiple discussions about evolution and about the minds.com platform as a whole over the last days, I have decided to hit two birds with one stone. I have been working on a major project over the last while, and I believe it may be a starting point of showing what Minds, in it's ideal form can be.
I believe evolution is the transformation of one thing into a more advanced version of that thing - it's more complete. Under this definition, I fully believe that humans can trigger their own evolution. I've lived many diverse experiences in my life, to where I can confidently say I have triggered my own evolution at certain points. This is my goal, to unite us humans by studying, learning and teaching and helping each to trigger their own evolutions. It's going to take a team effort....
I have taken to attempting to study the entirety of human experience as I could find it, and I have organised all of those possible subjects into 48 main headings. While I understand there are many sub headings and much cross over between the areas of study, we need to map out major reference points as we continue to study existence. The groups are divided into 4 sub categories based on how quickly we experience the changes in them.
Group 1 is communications or the 'Language of'. Until we can understand what 'alphabet' a subject is using, it's difficult to convert it into usable principles, especially when we all interpret that alphabet slightly differently. Group 2 is the "Art of', combining communications into a methodology. Group 3 is society or the "Study of" as concepts spread throughout civilisation. Group 4 is the "Science of", systems that take a long time to change. I will post a visual diagram when I'm able.
I'm a big picture thinker and scholar, and unfortunately for the scholar in me, I just don't have the time to learn EVERYTHING! Luckily, there are so many of you out there who are already experts in your fields. So this is my proposal...
For anyone willing to help me, I am going to lead the charge as a 'Study CEO'. I will do my best to find harmony between differing ideas so that together, as the Minds community, we can help provide a blueprint of higher knowledge and create more efficient pathways for self-study.
To keep myself organised, I will only be posting in these 48 groups, as well as the 'Human Rights' group until further notice. I need active members in other groups who are able to funnel key information through the 48. These groups are not to be spammed please, let's try and keep them concise, pre-filtered information so that I/we am/are able to work 'meat and potatoes' style.
I am asking for self-appointed experts and moderators of these 48 groups, those who care about the field of study and have a personal interest and skill set to advance that realm of knowledge for everyone. Please send me a message if you'd like to volunteer as a moderator. As Minds evolves, and the self-moderated community starts growing together, we will be building the infrastructure for what Minds is supposed to be: a community network of dedicated, intelligent, humble humans with a massive bank account we ALL own and moderate. Those who contribute will be rewarded for their efforts and dedication the whole human organism (and all other organisms we need in utopia!). Once there is enough info gained in an information group, I will start turning information into books. A few years down the road, the Minds community should be the foremost producer of comprehensive texts in the world, and importantly, the most unbiased. Anyone willing to seek should have the fair shot to do so.
I'm not sure how this will work 100%, (community project # 1?) but once Minds is monetised, we vote in some democratic way to send money where it needs to go. Furthermore, since we are an international network, we will have people on the ground to do the physical work, while eradicating the idea of funds ever being an issue, as the community essentially has a bottomless bank account. There's no reason for anyone who is working hard and is community supported not to be able to make a 'full-time' wage on their own time. Lastly, due to the transparent nature of Minds, everyone will be able to see everything the community is producing, and the decision processes of where and how to help out in the world is a completely open, public one.
If you don't vibe with this project, I ask that you please just keep your comments to yourself. This is pure positive evolution. Debate is important, but only if it can be constructive and parties are flexible in how they assimilate new knowledge. If Minds is to be what I believe it can be, we need dreamers and believers of humanity, not cynics and trolls. Please note, if you are unwilling to comply with the 'no negative energy', you will be granted one reminder of what this space is about, and if that line is crossed again, I will not hesitate to block you. Please don't take this as a threat but instead as a promise to those who are willing to give their time, energy and talents to make the world a better place for everyone, no exceptions!
Minds Community, no one person can change the world by themselves, but we are all part of the sea of change. To quote Cloud Atlas, "what is an ocean but a multitude of drops"? Humans, it's time for us to get it together, understand what is truly important and build a better world for those who haven't yet figured it out for themselves. I am calling on leaders, dreamers, lovers, teachers, students, mind powers, heart powers, and whatever else you've got or call yourself to help us.
