Why I think the Aston Martin Lagonda Vision stole the 2018 Geneva Motor Show!!

The brand Aston Martin Lagonda is back again (not a limited run series such as the Lagonda Taraf.) The Lagonda Vision is giving us a glimpse of what their brand will be offering in 2021  when the brands first cars will go on sale. This car is based on the forthcoming Aston Martin DBX.

The Lagonda brand will be the first luxury brand to offer a full EV line-up of wheels. Of course, the Lagonda brands cars will be brimmed with technology that includes autonomous driving, also the use of the advanced lightweight materials.

Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichmann and his crew of stylists and engineers have used the car’s electric foundations to form a shape that veers avidly from the usual three-box luxury car template. Lower and shorter than more conventional models, such as the Bentley Mulsanne, the Vision features very short overhangs and an almost coupe-like silhouette.

Thanks to mounting the battery packs on the floor and the electric motors in the wheel hubs, Lagonda’s stylists were able to utilise the maximum effectiveness of the space of the interior.

The interior of this car stole the show of the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The minimalist seats were from English furniture designer David Linley, the fronts seat spin 180 degrees whilst the back seats expand as if you're in a private jet. There's mood lighting prominently featured around this car. Also, there is white leather, blue carpeting and gold lining makes the Lagonda Vision's interior is divine.

My conclusion

I'm glad that the brand Lagonda is back. A Mercedes S-Class is too common for me, a Rolls Royce Phantom is too cliche for me and the Bentley Mulsanne isn't odd enough for me.

That's why I chose the Aston Martin Lagonda brand. It's rarer than the Mercedes S-Class with 645 units made through-out its lifetime compared to 70,000 units sold last year. The Rolls Royce makes me look like a tosh compared to the Aston Martin Lagonda and the Bentley Mulsanne is a bit too normal for me I want a bold, revolutionary car and odd car.

This car was a colossal gamble for Aston Marin at the Time. They went bankrupt around when this car was released in 1976. By the way, the Lagonda was a flop unfortunately with 645 units made through-out its lifetime. But, the exterior may have been its demise with Time Magazine putting this car into the 50 ugliest cars ever made. I disagree. There are many uglier cars made such as the BMW 2 series Grand Tourer.

At least, Aston Martin respects the Lagonda brand instead of leaving in the dust. I couldn't really care about there plan for autonomous cars due to being more dangerous and electric cars when the solar flare appears they're useless I could list a lot more friendly fuels.

LPG

Ethanol

Bio-fuels

Stop ranting Ferrarinator. Get back to why you think the Lagonda Vision stole the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Firstly the exterior it gives homage to the S2 Lagonda whilst been its own thing. Secondly, the interior will guarantee you no claustrophobia. Thirdly, interior lets you spin around in the fronts seats. Fourthly, the colour combo of the white leather, blue velvet and gold lining.

At first, I despised the design thinking it was a cashing in on the Tesla BOOOM!! Then, a few days later, over deep inspection, I started loving the design of the Lagonda vision.

If I had to choose between the S2 Lagonda versus the Lagonda Vision I, would the S2 Lagonda by an inch. But the Lagonda Vision I would drive around London. Bond will agree with me. He says "the Aston Martin Lagonda Vision has a licence to chill".

Thanks for reading my article. What're your thoughts on the Aston Martin Lagonda Vision? Was 007's joke garbage or do you dig the exterior and interior of the Lagonda Vision? Thanks for reading and On That Bombshell Goodnight!!
