Writing a song to a Rock

Today I am facing a Rock Block, not too big, though, because I have read sufficient books on the subject that have taught me that these are normal phases of the creative road. These Rock Blocks could block me indefinitely if I chose to remain in the victimhood of my comfort zone or they can trigger me to my next level of creativity if I manage to transform them into stepping stones that help me break through my self-imposed imaginary limits.

So I am going to write a song about it, today:

What do I do with a Rock Block?

I transform it into Rocking Rock, Baby!

Stepping Stone, Stepping Stone,

what are you waiting for?

Stepping Stone, Stepping Stone,

When are you planning to show up?

Show up at the page, show up at the page

That my little voice says to my face

Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Minds,

Blogger, Twitter and now Steamit

some I know, some I don’t, some I don't check anymore

How many apps can fit on my phone? None! None! None! None! None!

I’m so sorry, World, my phone is too old,

I confess I bought it two days ago

I was just looking at the price, milady

Now I can’t even take a picture of my baby

Stepping Stone, Stepping Stone,

what are you waiting for?

Stepping Stone, Stepping Stone,

When are you going to show up?

Show up with your face, show up with your face

in front of the cam, sing with a little grace

I will do my best, I promise I will try

Sorry, I'm still learning to play the guitar!

What do I do with a Rock Block?

I transform it into Rocking Rock, Baby!

Here is the first version of my new lyrics, I am still working on the melody... I plan to make it my March song this year. I am willing to record a fun video with it soon and upload it to my channel.

Have a Wunderbar Wednesday and let's see what tomorrow brings us all in my next blog—always a surprise, at least for me... Kind wishes to all!
