Bad and good types of fats: There are certain types of fats that your body has trouble processing and breaking down. Partially and Fully Hydrogenated Oils are some of those very bad fats. Some of the better types of fats are Monounsaturated fatty acids, Polyunsaturated fatty acids, and Omega-3 fatty acids. The body needs fats to help store energy, are used as messengers for proteins, help control growth, are used in immune system functions, reproduction and other metabolic processes.

Protein: Proteins are essential to rebuilding the human body, but before it can be used the body must first break it down into amino acids (the building blocks of nearly everything in the human body).Once broken down into amino acids the body can restructure them and make protein our body can use. Animal and plant proteins are built wrong for the body to "just use" without being broken down first into amino acids. There is fat associated with proteins which is why it's important to choose lean cuts like chicken, fish, legumes (beans), and yogurt

Every meal needs 5 things. Protein, simple carbs, complex carbs, vitamins, and minerals. When you get the correct ratio of these 5 things in every meal your body will become healthier, you will lose weight and have an overall better feeling in your body. Eating healthy will bring your body back into homeostasis (the tendency toward a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes.)

I'm going to wrap it up on that note. I hope you found this helpful in making informed decisions in your day to day life. Thanks for reading!
