Hello! My name is Steffen. I'm pretty new to blogging and I thought I would give it a try. So first I'll mainly be doing financial tips and other stuff (not sure of other content yet). Secondly, I am not a professional and I do investing and trading as a hobby. I don't mind answering questions if you want to private message me or just submitting comments.
So for the beginning of this series I'll start with a app I personally use for investing. This one is free to use and are great for people who are just starting to learn about the stock market. The first will be WiseBanyan, it's a robo investor which basically does all the work for you. Just set up a account pick out what goal you are setting, such as, a savings or safety net, then decide how risky you are will to be. I know that word sounds scary but it isn't really. Lower risk means your funds will be invested into bonds and loans. These are the safest way to invest when compared to the more risky stock investing. Of course, higher the risk mean higher the reward so just set it at what your comfortable with. All the options on there are etf's which are kinda like clumps of different stocks put into one. These are great for someone who is just starting out. They are usually very stable due to their diversification of assets, provide a dividend (best to check first if they do), and hold their value pretty well. So with their system your funds that you put in will be used to purchase shares of the stocks and will show the percentage of your portfolio that each take up. Another thing thats cool about WiseBanyan is that they allow partial purchases so you don't have to purchase the whole stock to have it. You can hold partial amounts and still reap the rewards of stock value increases and dividends. This makes it easy just just set a small amount of money in to start off your account and put a small amount weekly to make it easy for those of us who have restricted incomes to be able to participate.
So, that's just the basics of what it does. They also add extra services like tax protection and instant deposits if you want to look into it, as well as, a pretty nice job on keeping you updated every week on any trades and changes in your account. If your interested check out the app on the play store and get started and see how it goes. Oh and i think on my profile I have a promo link that should help give you $20 dollars to start your account. That is all I have to say for now. Enjoy your day and I'll try to keep a regular schedule on this series. (P.S I'm not affiliated with them at all I just really like their app and it helped me start learning about the stock market)
