SuAstika / Swastika

SuAstik is the visual OM or AUM .  It is a cross with movable arms, opening the doorway through which the Divine enters the world of the worshiper and the worshiper enters the world of the Divine. 

Astik means worshiper.  Su means good/auspicious/joyful/beneficial 

The opposite of  'Su'  is ' Na' or no/none/minus the quality being negated.  So the opposite of  SuAstik is NaAstik. NaAstik/ Nastik are those who do not believe in a Divine Being.  Nastik is an established belief in the Orient. Often it is called a religion.  In countries where the spoken language is not based on Sanskrit,  Nastik will be translated as atheist. 

There are no different Swastika. There is only one symbol: Suastika or Swastika.

For the Sanskrit speaking:  Swa means Self.   So SWA Astika is the Self emphasizing the worshiper further. 

About 10 years ago I edited the Wikipedia page on Swawstika which, at that time, mentioned only the use by the Germans during the second world war.  My edit was accepted.  Later, when I checked after some time, there had been an upgrade.  There were  a whole lot of entries on the Swastika. This is good. But when will the culture in daily life accept the reality?    

I am sick of having to defend the Swastika from people who wish to continually commit the crime of  disinformation. 

There is a difference between disinformation and misinformation.   Disinformation is the actual spreading of  wrong information with the purpose and goal of control.  Of the two disinformation is the graver fault and downright repulsive, pitiable act.  Misinformation is often just ignorance or mere lack of information. It is easy to correct, specially in this modern world with the ease of information. 

I am very sorry to hear that the Navajo people have stopped weaving the Swastika into their tapestry because of this crime of disinformation.

Often I am reminded about the Jews and the use of the Swastika in their killing. They want me to disuse the Swastika !! 

Well, the KKK use the cross. Do you ban the cross? Are people asking for the cross not to be used or banning it?    Why? Only because they cannot.. too many numbers and no disinformation... 

Accurately it is widely  known that the KKK misused the cross. So why is there a demonizing of the Swastika?

590 million Hindus were slaughtered by the Muslims.  Untold numbers of people slaughtered in various times of history where madness takes over and sanity is lost. 

Yet the only symbol being demonized is the Swastika?   why is that?
