Unscrewed Minds is the monthly review of Minds.com, brought to you by and made exclusively for @TheGarbageMan!

Originally, I wanted to create a database of the different Minds creators that are consistent. That Idea is still in the works, but until then a monthly review of the happenings is just what yo Garbage Man is prescribing.

So sit the fuck back, relax, and take a trip with me as we look back through January 2018 on Minds.com!

All underlined links will take you to that site, channel, or hashtag.

#SaveMindschan

First we start off with the shit show that was #SaveMindschan. Any month that starts off with loli you know is going to be bad.

Though, this wasn’t that bad. I remember that at one point in internet history, loli was used to fight off actual pedophiles, mostly on places where autism has already won such as 4chan or fucking Reddit.

But here on good ‘ol Minds.com, people got really worked up about it, comparing it to everything from normalizing pedophilia to being actual illegal pornography.

Because some especially autistic members got their loli posts either censored, deleted, or made unboostable, a character was created. A character that was made to mock the current state of moderation on Minds.com, Mindschan quickly became a symbol of free speech and dark depravity.

Mindschan became the retarded mascot of Minds.com.

More drama ensued, free speech won, and everyone agreed that loli “artwork” was just the fucking worst and that anyone who posted or created it should hang themselves.

After the dust had settled, clear divisions had been created in the community over Mindschan and what she represented. Either free speech or pedo normalization/avocation? It all depended on who you asked.

MAGA: The Game

@LlamaLlamaGames, of whom I’ve been a fan of for a while, and @MrMouth, who I also am a very big fanboy of, got together and created a game called MAGA: The Game!

It was released it on the 20th to coincide with the first anniversary of president Trump's inauguration.

I had a small hand in writing a few blurbs on the instructions and back of box, but now I have more published work than most of you!

I’m sure most of you saw the advertising campaign. If not, check out #MAGAthegame to laugh, learn, and then buy it, BUY IT NOW!

It will be about another week or two till I get my hands on a copy. Gamecrafter.com is a MADE IN USA company, so it takes them a bit of time to manufacture each order.

I mean could you imagine a MADE IN CHINA MAGA: The Game? That would be like a MADE IN MEXICO MAGA hat. A sacrilegious abomination.

It was fun and I haven't even played it yet.

The 7

The Curator dropped his new video, The 7, the first of a series that I’m looking forward to adding to my weekly programming.

I applaud his idea and execution of posting his top 7 most popular stories of the week and then reading them aloud along with some comments by users.

This right here is what I was talking about us becoming our own gatekeepers, sifting through the news and displaying the stories and subjects that are important.

We don’t have to read what MSM or Matt Drudge wants us to, I have Curator Sarm to dig out the stories for me!

Of course your Garbage Man got a big ‘ol hefty shout-out at the end of his video, so I’m going to give him one right back; Thank you @Curator_Sarm! I look forward to the next The 7!

#Releasethememo

The release the memo drive and push, all attributed to Russia, was a massive success! We trended it, called those worthless fucks we elected to office to release it, and we will be getting the memo by the start of February, barring an act of God or the deep state.

Started by members of congress tweeting about it on Jan. 18th, it was approved to be released by a house committee on the 29th.

Eleven days for congress to do something that isn’t related to their paycheck?! We live in interesting times, my friends.

We're starting to realize our full potential. Now if we could just use our powers for good, we’ll be set!

This is me helping.

A few worthy mentions of top, high-quality, original Minds.com content for January:

Pige0nHole made some pretty fashy comics to start and end this month. If you haven’t checked out this channel, you’re doing your sense of humor a disfavor.

Bombislam.com had a crazed anti-fan make him into the target of a poorly made, poorly acted, poorly produced, poorly written, and poorly directed movie, of which is trying to be crowd-funded… Yeah, it’s as bad as it sounds.

The VeGAINator(s) jumped on the #WeRemember bandwagon and showed us all why he remembers the atrocities committed against the victims of WWII. Oy vey!

What did you think of January, 2018 at Minds.com?

Was there a story, hashtag, or drama that you think I left out?

Well that’s why there’s the comment section! Speak up and out about what you liked the most!

And feel free to also give me a heads up on any noteworthy activities throughout February.

I’m going to try and make this like my girlfriend. You know, a monthly thing.

Thanks for reading, everyone! Until next month, don’t get screwed!
