Dem Gun Study

Democrats abhor those who want to own a gun. They demanded a study into the sale of guns online.  The NRA described the study as an attempt to replicate the findings of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s 2015 report, titled “Point, Click, Fire: An investigation of illegal online gun sales,” which found that 62 percent of private sellers were willing to proceed with a sale, even if the prospective purchaser could not pass a background check.

The General Accounting Office aka GAO stated that every single one of the 72 attempts outside of the “dark web” were “unsuccessful.” It does kind of make one wonder where Bloomberg got his information and statistics.

“Private sellers on Surface Web gun forums and in classified ads were unwilling to sell a firearm to our agents that self-identified as being prohibited from possessing a firearm,” the GAO reported, noting that in their

“72 attempts … 56 sellers refused to complete a transaction once we revealed that either the shipping address was across state lines or that we were prohibited by law from owning firearms.”

In the other cases, the investigators’ website was frozen or they encountered suspected scammers.

On the dark web, GAO agents successfully purchased two guns illegally, as the serial numbers on the weapons were “obliterated” and “shipped across state lines.” But in the attempt to purchase, the GAO agents “did not disclose any information indicating they were prohibited from possessing a firearm.” –Fox News

Based on the findings of this study, the Democrats have no recommendations to report.

“GAO’s findings showed nothing so much as that private sellers advertising online are knowledgeable about the law, conscientious, and self-policing,” The National Rifle Association said, adding that online gun sales are “subject to the same federal laws that apply to any other commercial or private gun sales.”

Project Veritas

James O'Keefe has struck again and this time it is Twitter in his sights.

An undercover Project Veritas  journalist records a conversation with a Senior Network Engineer at Twitter, Clay Haynes, who admits that he would be happy to share Trump's private 'Direct Messages' with the DOJ without the bother of a silly warrant.

PV Journalist: "So, you're not a Trump lover?"

Haynes: "No."

PV Journalist: "Like, we're going to go into nuclear warfare because of him, like, what are you doing at your job to kind of quiet him or to downplay some of the things that he comes up with because, honestly, he's going to get us into so much trouble."

Haynes: "...we're more than happy to help the Department of Justice in their little investigation..."

PV Journalist: "Ok, like how?"

Haynes: "Basically, giving them every single tweet that he's posted. Even the ones he's deleted. Any direct messages, any mentions, oh yeah..."

Twitter responded to the Project Veritas videos in the same way that the New York Times and Washington Post did.  Ignoring the outrageous behavior of their employee.

Here's Twitter's statement per the International Business Times:

"The individual depicted in this video was speaking in a personal capacity and does not represent or speak for Twitter. Twitter only responds to valid legal requests, and does not share any user information with law enforcement without such a request."

"We deplore the deceptive and underhanded tactics by which this footage was obtained and selectively edited to fit a pre-determined narrative," Twitter’s spokesperson said. "Twitter is committed to enforcing our rules without bias and empowering every voice on our platform, in accordance with the Twitter Rules."

It is well known that if you attack Trump on Twitter it is all good and if you use the same exact words and exchange Trump for Democrats or a particular Democrat you are banned.

It's their company and just like Youtube and Facebook they will suffer for this behavior. Facebook and Youtube are suffering from loss of ad revenue and it isn't like Twitter has been doing great in that department to begin with. Instead of embracing the person who is actually communicating with others via their platform, they cut their nose to spite their faces. Their current policy is draconian if you ask me but that is just me.

I don't care really. Their company and they can run it anyway they wish. I hope all are out of Alphabet/Facebook/Twitter. These babies are going to go the way of Memorex. Can't remember them? Yeah that is where they are going and they did it to themselves.

Robots

The San Diego based fast-food chain Jack in the Box says that with California's minimum wage rising to $15 by 2022, automated kiosks and other previously tested technology are now economically feasible.

If I go to a Jack in the Box and they want me to put in my order and pay for my order at a kiosk, I am leaving. I do not go out to eat, even at a fast food place, to serve myself.  I expect service. Since that is not what I am getting I go to where I get service. I had that happen at a Jack In The Box here and I will never return.

I refuse to be part of this because I am not there for just food. I am there to be served and treated like a queen. Since that is not happening I will go to Chick Fil A where I get food, service, and I am treated like a queen.

I suppose as sales drop they will figure it out.

Pakistan

The ally. The one that kept Osama bin Laden under lock and key hidden away. Well since they were the ally then and after his death I assume it was under Washington's orders and I assume bin Laden taking down the towers was part of Washington's plan and it was cooked up by the Saudis, the Paskitianis and the US. All to get that old Pearl Harbor feeling going again and usher in a removal of rights and let's have war forever.  It worked.

When you look at how bin Laden was killed, how his body was disposed, and where he had been hanging you have to wonder.

New sheriff in town.

Defense Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan declared that military and intelligence cooperation with the United States are suspended.

No loss. I don't think anyone really cares. India is the real growth engine there and it behooves us to make nice with them.

Police Deaths

Although we hear complaints about a "war on cops" from police labor unions, government institutions, et al, there is no evidence to support the claim.

As of December 28, 2017, 128 officers died in the line of duty. Down 10% from 2016, when 143 officers died, according to new data from National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

The only other year with less deaths in the past five decades was 2013, when 116 officers were killed.

Traffic accidents are the leading cause of police-officer deaths, although shootings play a significant role.

DACA

Another judge temporarily blocked Trump's decision to throw out DACA protections for some 690,000 people who were brought to the US as children.

It just shows everyone how broken and unfair our Court System is when the opposing side in a case (such as DACA) always runs to the 9th Circuit and almost always wins before being reversed by higher courts.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 10, 2018

Judges from the ninth circuit, a set of federal judges from Hawaii , have issued injunctions blocking every iteration of Trump's travel ban.

Syria

Ahh those Russians!!

The Russian military in Syria thwarted a massive drone attack at the Khmeimim air base and Russian Naval point in the city of Tartus on January 6, intercepting 13 heavily armed UAVs launched by terrorists.

The Russian Ministry of Defense released new information, noting "strange coincidences" surrounding the terrorist attack: these included a US spy plane spotted in the area, namely a US Navy’s Boeing P-8 Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft on patrol between the Khmeimim airbase and Tartus naval base in Syria during the time of the attack.

The presence of the Navy Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft, a high-tech spy plane with electronic warfare components, in the region during the drone attack.

Coincidence? Yes. It co-in-cided with the US military's imagination.

The Pentagon countered that while the US was “concerned” over the incident, Pentagon spokesman Maj. Adrian Rankin-Galloway, however, claimed that “those devices and technologies can easily be obtained in the open market.” All true. He told Sputnik that the US saw what it called “this type of commercial UAV technology” being used in Islamic State missions.  Again true but not a bevy of them. Nope that costs lots of money and so who has the largest military budget in the world? Who loses 2.3 trillion and never looks for it? The US.

Identity Crisis

People Magazine’s choice of male country singer Blake Shelton as “sexiest man in the world” has the Left in a tizzy.

According to the Left and followers of Identity politics, the choice indicates that People Magazine is itself racist and part of the white supremacy movement to elevate white people above people of color.

According to a writer in Salon, it reinforces and celebrates toxic white male sexuality and elevates a white man to a position of popular acclaim.

What we are seeing unfold with Identity Politics was imagined by Jean Raspail in his futuristic novel The Camp of the Saints.

What, what, what?

ROTFLOL sorry about that. My sides hurt.

Op-Ed

They are cute in their angst. Bless their hearts! Truly!

I am not maligning anyone. I am the narrator and report both sides to the best of my ability. You get the one side constantly and some of this you will never hear about on the news.  I love them all. They are playing a role and the actor is great but the role played  is not so great. You can love Daniel Day Lewis, but not like the role he played of the Butcher.

All are lovely and doing the best they can and all think they are doing good. Your good is not necessarily my good and that is ok.

You would think the Dems, the Left, the globalist leaders would get it by now. I mean how many times must you see the pattern? They think ill of Trump accusing him of being a sexual predator, yeah that one is still biting them.  The sexual predators are everywhere in their midst.  They think Trump should die, how many careers have ended on that one?  They think he is colluding with Russia.  All current evidence points to them colluding with Russia.  They think whites and men are deplorable.  The blacks are imploding in their strongholds, and the women have become bullies while white men and women apologize for being white.  White people and men are victims in their strongholds. They accuse others of fake news only to have what they push out proven to be fake news.

There is only one being here made up of many. When you malign another it does not do a thing to the one maligned, it comes back to bite you on the ass. Now some call that karma, some call it fate or destiny. Nope you did it all by yourself by thinking ill of yourself believing it to be another. LOL Nope that is you in another costume.

We repeat and we are repeating because we maligned Nazis. We lived and breathed hate of them and now these people are becoming the very thing they supposedly despised. Nazis.

If others wish to bow and be victims to these bullies go ahead. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I however, and most Americans, respect each other and these are the few. Loud but few. Thank them for showing you what you dislike and with them the best and ignore them. They will fade away. I promise.
