A third Blog on NY Day 2018

I've just been to watch the Fireworks display over the River Yarra that runs thro the center of Melbourne CBD.  A wonderful display, and the crowd was in good voice and cheered for the full 10 minutes.

Now, back to work......yep I said work.....didn't I mention my work before? Oh, ok then,...well,...... I manage Australia's largest Strip Club. Yeh, I know, but someone has to do it!!! lol 

I've been here for 4 and a half years, and have to say, its not difficult working with 120 beautiful women dressed in their finest underwear. Honeybirdette the most popular brand :)....my admiration for these ladies is boundless, and I love working with them. Just incredible young women.

On to other things.......Last year was a reasonable year......spent 2 holidays enjoying my (our) latest passion, scuba diving. My partner Ash loves diving now too. Next trip is back to wonderful Thailand for a 5 day boat trip diving, then 8 days on Phi Phi Island....yep, u guessed it, diving.  Have dived Phi Phi before and am really looking forward to this return trip in March.

Soooo, what else from 2017?  My biz partner and I have revamped our building biz after loosing everything 7 years ago, but we've hung in there, now much wiser and smarter, and am pleased to announce that this year, we are definitely going to make it good again.....thank ghod.....its been a long hard road..... although working at the Club has been a life saver in so many ways!!! lol

I've been avidly watching the unfolding saga that is American politics, and also British politics. How can so many people in positions of power stuff up so badly? How did the good ol' US of A end up with a right wing fascist bigot? And the UK with a totally incompetent government headed by a would be pale imitation of the fascist Maggie Thatcher....long may she rot!!!?  The cruelty shown to the general public by both is criminal. They should be held liable and accountable for the lives of the ordinary men and women that they are ruining. The unthinking spending cuts to welfare and health, education and infrastructure....the selling off of the countries assets to the highest corporate bidder is criminal. 

Don't get me started on the corporate world. How dare a countries politics be influenced by big business lobbyists against the welfare and well being of its populace.  Time to rise up my friends.....at least the UK has a semblance of hope through Jeremy, and maybe the US through Bernie.....but I just dont know??? If the ordinary man just woke out of his TV induced slumber and went out to vote, the world would change for the better tomorrow. RISE UP for FUCKs sake before its too late!!!
