Trading Crypto Coins - Idiots Guide

Ok, before I begin, I want to state that I am no expert in Crypto currency,  I simply got into it recently for fun and worked out a few things for myself.

This looks far more complicated than it is, and you don't need to know any of it. 

First, you will need a wallet of some kind for putting in real money and buying crypto with.

Join "Coinbase" (You will find it on google etc) This site/app lets you deposit real money, and use it to buy Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum. 

After you sign up with coinbase, and show them your I.D. you can then put in any  amount of cash via debit card/ credit card. DO NOT deposit more than you are willing to lose. 

I only put in £20 GBP, and used it to buy £20 worth of litecoin. Once you have bought your litecoin you need to send it to better market for trading cryptos. 

 Go to Binance and create a free account there. If you plan on trading with  less than 2 bitcoin value, like me ( which is almost $30,000 worth ) You do not need ID to register at the basic level here.

Next, you are going to transfer your litecoin to Binance.  

Binance is a crypto only trading platform.

Funds > Deposits/Withdrawals 

At the top of the page on Binance, select Funds > Deposit/Withdraw. 

Select the currency you want to deposit, in our case litecoin, then click Deposit over on the right side.  

Copy the Wallet address code shown here, and go back to Coinbase and paste it into the send form.  It can take 10 minutes or so to transfer, but don't worry.

Now that you have some litecoin in your Binance account, exchange it for Bitcoin by selling it in the MARKET tab (not Limit)  then.. its time to start buying. 

in the 'Exchange' tab,  select XRP/BTC from the list on the right. Dont be scared by the complicated looking charts and numbers, Ignore them for now. 

Just select "MARKET" in the buying form rather than LIMIT.  

I then pressed the 100% button, and bought as much XRP as I could for my roughly £20 worth of Bitcoin.  You can also enter a number of units you want to buy.

(when pressing 100% you may have to decrease the number a tiny amount as there is a tiny transfer fee during the buy and sometimes it will say you don't have enough funds)

Congrats! you now own some XRP coins.  Hold on to them or sell them for a profit any time...  and check out the other currencies too,  some are as cheap as $0.03 per coin, and they can double in value overnight very easily. 

As of right now the XRP I bought is now worth double what I paid for it yesterday.

I also invested in 350 coins of a currency called POE for 0.03 cents each, which have also doubled in value overnight :)
