2018 Aria FXE the new all-American supercar daws upon us

Aria are the company who penned designs for the Tesla Model S concept, Ford Shelby GR-1 and Halo Warthog from Halo 4. Arai debuted the FXE at Los Angeles motor show. I welcome you to the Aria FXE, Americas 220mph supercar .

This car has a 6.2 litre Chevy sourced V8 combined with a 10 kWh battery back producing 1,150bhp helping this car glide from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 220mph.

Aria claims it uses lots of 3D printed metal composites. This cars materials uses lots of carbon fibre  body panels equaling to 3,450lb. The wheels of the car are Wide Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires pairing up with HRE centre lock rims with front 20 inch and rear 21 inch.

This car will reach the roads in 2019 with prices of $650k for base model but there will be no hybrid system and for range topper $1m.

MY OPINION

In the past when the Veyron was out their wasn't many supercars out. Since the SSC Aero everyone and their mother built a Veyron killer. This trend has stayed for years with speed and fastest Nurbergring lap.

This car seems to be inspired by the Hyperhybrid race of 2013. The Arai FXE another supercar with wacky looks to grab our attention. When their is a super car what has subtle looks I'd take my hat to a company who dose it.

I don't mind crazy supercars but with the influx of start-ups who have no experience this seeming to look like a joke. Telling by Arai have penned up designs for Ford and 343 industries (The makers of Halo) this company can produce shells but I want to drive a production ready car. Arai are you up for the challenge.
