If you are spending Christmas on your own, it means extra time. You can turn the dark cloud of being alone in a very promising silver lining for 2018. If you haven't found your desired soulmate yet, Christmas week is an excellent time to review yourself and your chances of finding a great soulmate in the new year.
The biggest obstacles blocking our search for partners have nothing to do with other daters, but a lot to do with our BELIEFS, MINDSET, and ATTITUDE to life which could be trapping us in the same old habits that we repeat relentlessly, while hoping for different results. Yet, if you keep doing what you’ve always done, you will just keep getting what you've always got.
This is a great time to ask yourself the following key questions, and see what answers you get. By being honest with your answers, you get an alternative way of getting the most from your search:
1. Do I have narrow beliefs about others and how I approach them (Am I being ageist etc)?
2. Do I keep doing the same things every day, yet expecting different results!
3. Do I really know what I want, or do I go after anything that looks attractive to make up for that?
4. Do I have an old-fashioned and limiting mindset controlled by fear, or a more youthful, flexible mindset that is ready to be surprised?
5. Do I really love and appreciate me, and enjoy being myself? (Others cannot love what we reject!!)
6. Am I a GIVER, or a TAKER, expecting the other person to do it all for me?
7. Do I just want an audience, someone to listen to me because I'm lonely, or a real soulmate whom I am interested in, too?
8. Am I usually positive, or negative, seeing the world in gloomy hopeless terms, or appreciating its many blessings!
9. How do I tend to treat others? With RESPECT and admiration, or with FEAR and distrust?
10. How much would I rate myself out of 10?
(If you gave yourself less than 8, that would partly explain why you are having difficulty attracting others, because they cannot be drawn to what you don't like yourself!!). You also need to ask why you are not a 10 as you are, this minute?
As for me, I am an easy 11!! :o)
I hope this week proves truly great for you!
