RWBY - A Scene I wish had happened

RWBY is a frustrating series to enjoy, because it has so much potential that it regularly squanders. So here's a scene I wish would happen/had happened.

Neo goes to beat the shit out of Salem because Roman was killed by a grimm (it's been implied that the grimm ignore the villains because Salem tells them to) Salem doesn't even flinch when Neo attacks her. She treats it like Neo came in with a well-thought out and organized list instead of trying to stab her with an umbrella (make it clear Neo doesn't even have a chance of scratching her, and Salem DGAF for precisely this reason). She acknowledges that Neo's right to be upset.

Then she offers to make a deal. Salem resurrects Roman, and reveals she's done this for all the humans on her council of doom, explaining both their loyalty and why they view her as a goddess. Neo initially is amazed, but she's an illusionist and this sounds incredibly fishy, so she gets up and glares. Salem notes "perhaps it is an illusion, but then, perhaps not. Are you willing to take the chance?" (also, Neo is definitely mute.)

However, Roman is unconscious. Salem then tells Neo that if she wants Roman back in full, she must get something for her ("Tell me, what would you do to have him back?"). Cut to black before revealing what it is that Neo is off to get for Salem (either one of the maidens, or a Relic, doesn't really matter what so long as Neo can succeed without outright ending the show).

You learn more about Salem's abilities and her organization, we get character development for Neo beyond 'condescending smirk' and its basically confirmed Roman will be returning at a later point. Possibly stronger, since Salem's powers are still largely an enigma. (possibly imply some brainwashing on Salem's part)

'Course, then deaths in the series are potentially rendered permanently meaningless because they can just come back. But I think the risk would be worth it.

EDIT: I just realized Neo has no way of knowing that Roman was killed by a Grimm.
