Evolution: Humanity's progress

This is a long time coming but after a few things seen in recent days I felt it was time to try and get my thoughts down about this.

Evolution

Now lets start with a definition, that way we can get off to a good start.

From the Oxford English Dictionary:

1The process by which different kinds of living organism are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth.

Now when we think of the word evolved we see a sliding scale with more evolved to less evolved (almost like a ranking position). Yet when you look at the theory of evolution as posed by Charles Darwin we are faced with three parts to it.

1. Mutation - a chance, likely random, that affects the DNA which is apssed down to either immediate offspring or generations later

2. Benefits - Now with a mutation it can be beneficial or damaging or neutral in any regard. If it has negative consequences then future offspring will suffer and, without any artifical intervention, die when that happens that particular form of evolution dies out (dead end) however if the mutation is positive then future offspring will develop an advantage and flourish and thus in the natural world will gain greater chance to reproduce and pass on that mutation, hence survival of the fittest. So in essence the bad mutations are yet another way to cull a population and ensure the strongest.

3. Development - As time goes on as these new change develop further and more positive mutations emerge new species develop that branch from the original and from others (especially if the mutation has neutral effects thereby meaning they hold no advantage over an unmutation brethren).

So with this in mind we have to ask how is humanity evolving and the answer can only be described as neutral to negative, allow me to explain further.

As I stated in part 3, if a evolution is neutral a new species developed that live alongside the others of the original species (branch off) and as we've seen so far certain mutations have cropped up that have led to transgenderism and other such points of view as though the human mind has been shifted ever so slightly from the common course. Now I also mention negative because as I stated in part 2, "If it has negative consequences then future offspring will suffer and, without any artifical intervention, die" this means anyone with a genetic problem or are a carrier are creating risk for future generations but instead of natural selection we sustain them to continue breeding thereby allowing a bad mutation to flourish allowing that mutation to mutate further causing greater risk (or better, we never know but would you want to take that chance).

Now I know this is callous and cruel in the eyes of some but take the now occurence of the superbug or bacteria that have developed AMR (Antimicrobial Resistance) that occured only after we artificial tried to stop it allowing it the chance to mutate through exposure to an aggressive in environment, in short human intervention and desire to stop it, jump started its evolution.

Now back to humanity and why this prevention of natural selection has proven to be disasterous. Think of the human race as many distinct species of human from different regions of the global and their statistics for example people from Asia are slightly shorter but with a higher IQ average, compared to Europe who are taller but with lower IQ average and compared to Africa who have a lower IQ average further.

As such there are likely races in humanity with higher immune systems or with better immune systems I should say to avoid Auto Immune dieases, that would survive a disease without medicial intervention or rather we'd see how can mutate the cure to that disease fastest thereby providing the best option for the future. So what does this mean coupled with the fact that a sedetary lifestyle mixed with chemical castration, in short an artifically induced decline means that there is fewer numbers in competition for those who might not contribution evolutionary well to the species.

We need to let nature take its course, stop fighting it, it encourages us to survive and in doing so become better, stronger, faster, smarter.

How can that be a bad thing?
