The 'Parent's Basement' fallacy

Have you ever been so financially unstable that you stay at your parent's? Obviously, not. You probably live in an apartment. Sure, it's crummy. But atleast you have your own place. You can always do some repairs (or pay someone to do it for you) in your rented apartment.

Even though you are financially independent, some twats on the 'net tell you to "get out of your parent's basement and get a life". It's irritating!

The 'Parent's Basement' fallacy is a type of ad hominem, related to the 'Your Mom' insults commonly found in MMO sessions (or basically everywhere in the web). Here's an example:

"Fuck you, fag! At least I have a life. Of course you're going to win when all you do all day long is sit in your parents' basement, play this game and jerk off to porn and hentai."

This insult is so irritating that, due to people insulting me with this in the web, I'm temped to show my net worth (however, I thinked twice; don't want people with pitchforks within proximity to my porch).

Who on earth would want to live in the basement; there are spiders in there! Also, just because the guy's single doesn't mean he's a loser. Jesus Christ was single! He also certainly didn't shave, died a virgin, and yet we don't call him a loser.

Also, you're more of a loser (and a pendejo) if you are rasing someone else's child due to your wife cheating on you (my condolences if the bastard kid is black). Tradcucks tend to use the "parent's basement" fallacy when they can't refute a good argument against marriage and romantic relationships with females.
