AsKing about Speaking w/ the Claimant

Serves at least two purposes:

  • provides a "counter-offer" to define who/what the claimant is/isn't
  • shows effort to speak with the one said to be charging, issuing, ordering etc
  • shows valuing people over paperwork?

When I last thought I was doing "this", I found the self questioning which topic(s) to pay attention to. Seems to me I payed too much attention to the word "you", and the name I use, instead of asking to speak w/ the claimant, how one agrees w/ the claimant, or violates, offends, breaks agreement w/ claimant etc, effectively becoming defensive.

Even though the word you is ambigious, and 'you' likely recognize that you're not a name, focusing on you and/or the name at the expense of speaking w/ claimant leaves one constantly playing defense... are you claiming you is me? are you claiming i am John Doe? I'm lead to believe the answer would be yes, and if you've agreed, even through acquiescence, to the definition of "The State/City/County etc of ... " used by the one bringing that phrase up, you're guilty. You may claim you didn't consent, but could it be you played a role by not counteroffering to define "The State/City/County etc of ... ", effectively showing that you believe The State of ... exists as a so called entity? Why believe in "things" that can't be detected with any of the senses?

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean- neither more nor less.” “The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.” “The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master-that’s all.”

“This of course is the way to talk to dragons, if you don’t want to reveal your proper name (which is wise), and don’t want to infuriate them by a flat refusal (which is also very wise). No dragon can resist the fascination of riddling talk and of wasting time trying to understand it.”
