Two men were waiting for a train.

Man #1: "So while we are sitting here waiting for this train, I might as well get to know the man I am sitting next to."

Man #2: "Fair enough. I welcome all people and have no bias whatsoever."

Man #1: "That is an honest answer, and seems at the start to be a great one."

Man #2: "Whatever could you mean by that?"

Man #1: "I mean no disrespect, it was not my intention to offend you. I only mean to say that everyone has bias."

Man #2: "I have no bias. I am tolerant of all."

Man #1: "I do not mean to be impertinent, but that is simply impossible."

Man #2: "You are wrong, Sir. I am living proof."

Man #1: "Well would you tolerate someone who is addicted to killing innocent people?"

Man #2: "It is against the law to kill people."

Man #1: "Right because where we live there is a definite bias against murder."

Man #2: "That is not the same. I do not mean I condone murder, rape, torture or any other atrocity. That is a straw man argument."

Man #1: "Bias exists. I am not saying you condone anything, I am only showing a cultural bias."

Man #2: "I don't know that I like this conversation, and don't really see the point."

Man #1: "Forgive me, I should learn to keep to myself, a terrible fault of mine. I will leave you alone if you can answer me one question: What do you stand for?"

Man #2: "It is becoming clear to me, sir, that you have an agenda, and I am against your method, but will answer your question to satisfaction if it means I never have to talk to you again."

"I stand for freedom, and am against any who would try to take that freedom away from others, so long as their freedom doesn't hurt anyone else. Everyone should have the right to live happy lives in the way that makes them happiest."

Man #1: "On that, my friend, we agree entirely."

Man #2: "Somehow I doubt that."

Man #1: "I sincerely do. I think everyone should have the freedom to believe however they wish. I use my freedom to stand for the Christian faith. What do you use your freedom to stand for?"

Man #2: "I knew it! You people have done more to infringe on freedom with your rape and slavery, and you talk to me of freedom?"

Man #1: "You brought up freedom to live however you wish. I don't know what your unsupported claim against the entire Christian community has to do with my question. I just wanted to know what you stood for in order to get to know you better. I thought it was only fair I told you my beliefs."

Man #2: "Maybe it is because you have been so deafened by your rage, and hate for others that you did not hear me when I told you already, I stand for F-R-E-E-D-O-M, and against intolerant bigots like you."

Man #1: "I can't help but be hurt by your accusations. I am nothing like that, and I would that you show me my error."

Man#2: "It is not my fault you don't have a basic understanding of what is common knowledge."

Man#1: "The reason why I ask is that saying you are against intolerance and stand for freedom is not a belief system. Once having that freedom, you then can make the choice to stand for, and to believe in something greater."

Man#2: "What exactly are you trying to say?"

Man #1: "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything."

Man #2: "I believe I will exercise my freedom to stand, and take the bus. Good day and good riddance." #bigbybits #whatdoyoustandfor
