Progressives Want the Head of a Cop Running Hate Speech Investigations

The irony. The internet cop Marko “Fobba” Forss is getting heat from the lefties.

 

 

 

Forss is the face of the Finnish police internet team focused on chasing racists. He became known as the right hand of the political prosecutor Mika Illman ( and later Jorma Kalske ) whose job was to dig dirt and intimidate people who were not happy with the immigration policy or the crime levels. He helped to build cases against many bloggers and commentators whose crime was to speak their minds. Recently Forss became the lead investigator of the Helsinki city police department hate speech team. Now he is being accused of racism.

 

 

 

I’ve met Forss in real life and based on that and his public appearances I’ve always considered him to be no genius. A douche who got ahead by doing the dirty work no honest man wanted to do. A few years back he was on the spot light for making a joke about gypsies stealing a chicken from a supermarket. Not quite the thing to do in his position but somehow he got a way with it with little harm – unlike many of his victims.  But now he is at it again.

 

 

 

This time he has been supervising a closed forum on Facebook for active and retired members of the police force where apparently they have discussed different ethnic groups a bit too openly. Forss is now getting the heat for not censoring discussions about ethnic profiling among other things. At least one discussion from the Facebook group is now under investigation by the prosecutor. The chief of police in Helsinki Lasse Aapio said that Forss can’t continue in his current position. The irony! Forss is not commenting.

 

 

 

I think he is not being accused of saying anything and the quotes I’ve seen from the group were not very offensive so it’s fair to say he is being sacrificed for multiculturalism without any proper reason. I have no sympathy for the man however. He is personally responsible for doing the same thing to many others so this feels like karma. This is no step to right direction but it’s human to feel happy when a bully gets it.
