By the time Ted awoke, roughly 12 hours had passed. It was one of those moments where you wake up, but, instead of actually getting up, you lay there staring at a wall for a solid hour, just going over in your head the events from the previous day.

In all, he had lost his girlfriend, 3 movie characters, and his sanity, but...he had gained a profound respect for his closet, which somehow had the magical ability to transport him to whatever world he happened to be writing at the time. In the past he had traveled to meet his characters Madeline, and Fred, and Will in whatever small town they were in...He couldn't remember the name.

In the future, he could go...wherever.

And with this power, Ted realized, came a profound and immense amount of responsibility.

"I know where I need to go next," he said to himself, "I know exactly where I need to go next."

And with that thought in his mind he sat at his computer and started to create his next world.

**********

Reginald Bartholomew Jenkins the 6th was famous throughout the north east part America as one of the area's most wealthy men. Having been one of the first to realize the true potential of oil in the late 1800s, Reginald spent all of his time and resources to aquire as much oil land has he possibly could. By the time World War I was in full swing, Reginald had built a world reknown empire.

Strangely, Reginold was currenlty sitting at his desk with his head down in his hands weeping, next to a large pile of money. It was at this moment that Ted came walking in wearing his now characteristc red high school P.E. shorts and white button up t-shirt, but this time he was also carrying a large, empty duffle bag.

"Hi Reginald. I'm Ted."

"Yes, yes, I know...I've been waiting for you. Go ahead, take it...I don't want any of it anymore.", he replyed, still weeping.

"Cool.  Not a problem." said Ted, starting to shovel the money into his bag and finishing the job shortly thereafter. He started to walk out of the office, Reginald still weeping behind him, but then he stopped and turned to face him.

"Reginald..." he siad.

        "What?" still weeping.

"In the future, would it be easier for everyone if we just did this by check?"

"I don't know...just leave and take the money with you." He responded, despondent and now crying even harder. Ted thought about this response, and said,

"No, you're right. The government will ask less questions if we do it by cash, Ok, see ya later."

And with that, Ted finally walked out of the office, leaving a very depressed Reginald behind him.

Ted was now laying on his bed. He had spread the money ooutand was laying on top of that, thinking of all the cool things he could do with this much money. Suddenly though, he sat up. There was something that had just occurred to him. He took a deep breath and said, almost disgusted with himself,

"It's as if you've learned nothing..."

He then stood up and walked into his closet.

Ted then came back through the door of Reginald's office, where Reginald was still weeping.

Reginold, "You're already back? It's only been 10 minutes..."

"No, I'm not here for that. Well...yet, I will be later though, but, Reginold, I have to ask, why did you put an add in the paper to give away your fortune?"

"How much time do you have?"

        "Can I take a seat?"

Reginald nodded his approval and Ted sat down to listen.
