If You Prefer Trump over SJWs, You Have Been Conned

There’s an elephant in the room. Many of us on this website believe that anti-white and anti-male SJW ideologies are currently dismantling Western civilization, while all but ignoring the fact that the President and entire legislative wing of the United States are armed with the actual material power to fire a nuclear strike from a country club in Florida, and are currently dismantling the fractured American welfare state for good.
Many of us, while raising facts and reason as objects of worship, somehow conceive of SJWs, Tumblr, gender pronouns and Black Lives Matter as existential threats to their culture, while ignoring the fact that the state has prosecuted a woman for laughing at the Attorney General, fired the FBI director and any actors within the government that may seek to check the new administration’s power, and lied blatantly too many times to recite.
The election is over. I, as many people did, saw Hillary Clinton as the continuation of a neoliberal failed state. Many people voted for Donald Trump because they saw him as a flawed, blustering, wrecking ball of an individual who would set his chaos upon the entrenched levers of power. But now is the time for intellectually honest people to concede that this has not, and will not, happen. Donald Trump will never challenge entrenched structures of power. He will only deepen their assault upon the poor, the unrepresented, the minorities and the salt of the Earth.
Donald Trump is gutting the welfare state, which is the starting premise not of socialism, but of liberalism. Is this not more important than the latest ravings of Franchesca Ramsey? Or has the canard of ‘classical liberalism’, a term meant to refer to extreme libertarian economics, a total opposition to the welfare state, conned you into believing that social safety nets are Marxism by another name?
If calling out ‘anti-white propaganda’ comes naturally to you, yet criticizing or protesting or in any way resisting Donald Trump is a more muted affair, I doubt that you have come to this place out of pure reason. You have internalized, crystallized a ‘culture war’, one in which you are fighting alongside the most retrograde imbeciles in American society, such as Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, Ted Cruz and Paul Ryan, against the devastatingly evil tide of young people who believe in non-binary gender and redistributive economics. The absolute horror.
People like Paul Joseph Watson, Styxhexenhammer, and Sargon of Akkad have been utterly conned. They played pretend with rockstar Trump, but what they got was George W. Bush in his third term. Trump does not write the legislation. Paul Ryan’s decade-old ideas are simply being enacted. We will likely send thousands of ground troops to Afghanistan. The 300% rise in drone strikes will only increase. We are closer than ever to the Saudis, who have bought off precious ‘daddy’ and his cowardly supporters who hated Saudi Arabia when the Clintons were in the conversation, but now could care less about Trump’s total conversion to frothing neoconservative austerity nut who bombs Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan with more frequency than the most globalist Clinton.
“When you gaze into an abyss, see that it does not gaze back into you.” I have seen so many of the anti-SJW community use this phrase to criticize SJWs. But anyone with a modicum of spiritual insight must admit that the anti-SJW ‘movement’ has been blinded by its hatred of cultural Marxism, and are now a pack of ideologues hunting low-hanging fruit while an imperialist asshole and his Republican enablers dismantle the welfare state, wage war, and punish the vulnerable.
Free speech is not a right-wing issue. Noam Chomsky believes Nazis should have the right to speak. Bernie Sanders argued in favor of Ann Coulter’s right to speak at Berkeley. If you hate the left, then join the Republicans, by all means. But do not play pretend with this ‘anti-globalist’ fantasy. The right represents austerity, the shuttering of the social safety net, privatizing all elements of society, and waging endless war for the profit of the security-surveillance state. Infowars is the truest cuck in the world, after all – they support everything a genuine anti-establishment would despise.
Perhaps it is different for Europeans, or Canadians like Dr. Jordan Peterson, who have universal healthcare. But to Americans, it is simply a lie to conceive SJWs as a greater threat to Western civilization than the evils of empire, racism and poverty, all three of which are accelerated by Trump.
There is a meme in anti-SJW circles that goes something like: “The word racist is thrown around so much that it has lost its meaning”. Now, members of these circles, such as SomeBlackGuy, hold personable conversations with scum like Nathan Damigo, a literal white nationalist who dashed toward and sucker-punched a woman in a bloodlusted fury. What coward decries the punching of Richard Spencer but cheers white supremacists in an open brawl? What sophists like Lauren Southern argue for a nuanced distinction between white supremacists and white nationalists? If you want a white ethnostate, you are one of the worst people on Earth, a scoundrel, a racist, an identity politician. Yet, to these pseudo-rationalist Pepes, the proponents of the white ethnostate are preferable to the protestors at Ferguson. I can put the pieces together here. It is an unseemly portrait of a diseased way of thinking.
I am writing this simply because in the past I have heavily critiqued SJWs, and I stand by much of my critiques. But one must be able to sense the tide turning. One must be able to see the obvious – when a nuisance has become a background issue, and a far greater threat worthy of critique and ridicule has emerged. ICE will deport millions of people who have been living in this country for decades. Who are you, truly, to be so self-righteous that you uphold the ink of arbitrary law over the reality of a person who has lived and worked in this country as long and hard as any other, but must be sent back to a country they hardly recognize due to the triviality of their birthplace? Dr. Jordan Peterson has linked attitudes toward closed or open borders to the impulses of conservatism and liberalism. I believe he is right. But there is a certain barbarism implicit of the deportation of working law-abiding citizens. There is a certain sickness in upholding law, and not justice, as the final say on human lives.
I only ask: were you a left-leaning person before 2015, before the anti-SJW craze lit up YouTube, and Buzzfeed became your mortal enemy, when before you barely read a word of it? Do you crave the anti-globalist wrecking force, and have let that craving replace a sober analysis of who Donald Trump has shown himself, in policy, to truly be?
Of course I have problems with the most extreme forms of identity politics, and the censoring of speakers, and the total erasure of biology for a false notion of the blank slate and relativist hell. I have a conservative streak in me, as I must, to understand the world that is and not merely grasp into thin air of understanding what it is I truly wish to change.
But there are bigger fish than ‘SJWs’ to fry. SJWs have some media power in the failed outlets that Trump steamrolled. Now he runs the most powerful army and state in the history of humankind. Who truly must be held accountable here? Who is truly worth the wit and criticism? A feminist blogger talking about the wage gap, or the man with the power to take your prospects for future healthcare away?
