Why #art is more natural to the right:
Ok, so why is art more natural to the right than the left?
Well what does the left promote:
collectivism
it's not about you but us
But in my opinion, great art is all about being unique.. seeing what you can do differently.. what you can get away with. The left is all about copying off what's already been done and this painfully apparent when you look at mainstream music (primarily coming from cali) because nothing mainstream has been creative for over a decade... it's all just repackaged nonsense.
The right is about the individual, you're in control of everything that matters. We don't just get up in the morning and say, well, I'll let everyone else handle this because I can't contribute.. NO !!! the right is about what you can do. The right tends to value individuality more than the left, and art, in my opinion, is best created by the individual.
Collaboration is great!! But not when every member of the band is trying to compete, but rather work together each with their own sense of individuality. We can really take off as humans when we work together, yet embrace individuality.
It is interesting and actually a very smart move by the left to co-opt the #prepackaged #art industry and destroy all creative free thought... look at what pop music has become: I can't tell one artist from another.. noone is willing to take risks anymore. This is mirrored in society as people seem to get less and less willing to take chances in favor of drab predictable monotony. So if you destroy individuality in art, you destroy that creative human drive which makes us all so interesting, if we choose to be.
I'm not saying I'm interesting; but you are, so embrace your individuality.
I'll be going into more detail in the future, but this is just a quick rant haha... terrible grammar and all (i've got a day job so fuck you)
