The first piece of a large tsunami has struck the coast of Japan in the Fukushima prefecture.
An earthquake, registering near 7.4 on the richter scale, took place off the coast of northern Japan this morning and agencies have warned of an incoming tsunami, expected to reach between 3 and 10 feet in height.
At the time of this story, waves of 2 feet have begun rolling into the coast.

Two aftershocks were reported, measuring 5.4 and 4.8. Tsunami waves were spotted 22 kilometers off the coast of Iwaki City in Fukushima Prefecture.
