Empire's End: Don't Vote Trump or Clinton

Hate speech against Muslims is terrible. Killing Muslims is downright evil. Almost every public 'intellectual' in America gets away with constantly supporting murder while decrying uncouth speech. Trump and Brexit are consequences of the rot of Western civilization, not the cause. As long as we are an empire we deserve to fall, and we are not and never were great. Any belief of the opposite, that the liberal moderate has the answers and that Trump's fall will be a 'return to sanity', is moral blindness. Is oligarchy better than demagoguery? What a stupid question. We'll keep defending the rotting floor just to avoid crashing into the basement. But it's an aimless task. No justice on stolen land. David Brooks and Charles Blow and the halls of Harvard and The New York Times can take their faux outrage with them into their 'end of history', their single-party state run by neo-conservative Bushes and amoral Clintons. Will I defend that world against the barbarians at the gates? Absolutely not. And it's important to make that case - absolutely not. Surrender principle for political expediency and you end up with neither. You end up a husk defending evil. No confidence.
