Dr. Rhonda Patrick reveals her micronutrient smoothie, what ingredients she uses and the vitamin and mineral output that comes along with it.

Her  ~64 fluid ounce smoothie contains all organic ingredients - including the following:

  • 8 large kale leaves
  • 4-6 rainbow chard leaves with stems
  • 3 cups (~710 ml) of baby spinach
  • 2 medium to large carrots
  • 1 tomato, 1 large avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup (~710ml) of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tall shot glass of flaxseed (optional)
  • 3 cups (~710 ml) of unsweetened flax milk

Rhonda notes that of the 64 ounces, she usually drinks about half (giving the other half to her husband).

Not only are smoothies easy to digest, they are a quick way to mix a lot of variety into one simple meal, potentially providing all the things your body needs in one drink.
