Web 3.0 for Artist, Musicians, Culture Critics of the Brave New World.

I am writing is blog as a list of Websites and apps for the sake of artist, musicians and culture critics who wanted to speak out on the over bearing censorship of big tech. Even though I'm not American, this type of threat is kinda scary and also might affect me if I have any dissenting opinion. For me, This is a threat and the extension of the tyranny of the American Government and in combination of Big Tech itself. I'm writing this as a form of guide and an entry on my discovery on what a decentralized web looks like and how it functions. 

The split big tech is real and the reliance of these services should be phased out from our lives and replacing it with censorship resistant platforms. Recently I have seen some rumbling on the Wallstreet Bets that they successfully manipulate the GameStop stocks and tricked the hedgefunders on their playing field. Was later researching some stuff on the Hive Blockchain ecosystem until I found one of the Hive blogger opened an invitation to the head of Wallstreet Bets to join with the Hive Ecosystem and I gotta say. The list was very comprehensive as well as detailed on what the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem look like and what could be our decentralized home away from home. Some of the Apps or DApps ( on what they are being called) are still in the beta in both ios and android but it may need users (us) to bring that into feedback and make improvements on the app itself.

This is the shot we need to get away from big tech and their long arm of their corpo fuckery. Though I love minds as my pseudo facebook/twitter/blogger I think we do need to spread out further to make ourselves censorship resistant. On our arts, views and voices. It's time to continue the exodus out of big tech.

When exploring what the hive ecosystem on what's to offer to the user, I soon realized that I stumbled upon some really good decentralized and block chain tech I never heard from before. I did opened up my eyes on the possibilities on what you can do with the block chain technology with the right community.

However using these types of blockchain websites you do need to have to understand as well as use their crypto currency exchanges and wallet that can be used to interact and boost others post. Also some of these hive ecosystems you need to require additional extention add-ons required to login.

Hive Frontends:

Hive.blog is the basically a public blogsphere from the hive ecosystem that basically post your blog and and if the community likes it they would engage in it. It also has a crypto currency in it. diving into the hive blog I see a ton of actual diversity one of which is diversity of thought. there is a ton of them from communities that you see a from the left hand side tab as well.

PeakD.com is another hive frontend blogger with another large communities to back up like a fuck ton of communities. I was in their communities and it took me hours to how deep and vast the communities can expand. never before in my experience in the web that there are vast number of people using the service and blogs as well. it is insane how ridiculous it can get I saw some of groups of that are also Filipinos, Venezuelas, and other spanish speaking country here. It is insane how big this communities are.

Ecency is another front end blogger type hive blockchain web application the difference is that it offers a website, a mobile app (both in IOS and in Android) and also desktop applications with the ease of access and the best security. That's what said on their FAQ by the way. You should check out what ecency has to offer to the user if you like the service FAQ

I have not made my ecency account yet since I have still to review some of the sites that has to offer as a viewer if this is right for at least. However, given that their is a mobile (both IOS and android) and a desktop app that you can use. This is a strongest one so far when it comes to availability so definitely a good one decentralized web app and it has its own unique crypto and wallet.

if you are new to the whole cryptocurrency thing this is the best place to go to understanding at as well as knowing the ins and outs of the whole thing when it comes to crypto. I myself will be joining them soon to get me up to speed with crypto.
 

Video Platforms:

3Speak is another youtube like clone but this time it is part of the hive blockchain as well its core tenants that might be a winning combination for a lot people to love freespeech as a principle. This might be another good platform to host some of the culture critique commentators here. I have not made an account here but the tenants of this site will speak gradually more also they have livestream services but I have not tested yet.

This might be another good alternative to the other ones as well. If you are interested on creating content as well as criticizing the world. This might be your possible home for those videos. Also I would like to add that trying to sign up using a microsoft mail account like @hotmail or any other mircrosoft own mailing services would not be accepted in 3Speak. I don't know why but that actually did happen.

Vimm.tv another blockchain site that this also part of the hive ecosystem is their version however I'll be truthful. Its not that impressive. It really looks like a barebones version on any other live streaming sites. Its just really empty and also ugly. I have not tested their service yet. I have just take a glance at it and it's not that impressive and it feels like it was not even completed. However I did see the a couple of streamers using the service but they are small; few games here and there but mostly the use by radio and news streams. I hope they improve soon but hey at least there is something.

Mobile Apps:

Dapplr I have not test this but we might have the decentralized version of Instagram with crypto currency. This is big, this might be a good solution for a lot of people who wanted another instagram but not instagram with big tech. 

Micro Blogging:

D.buzz is another free speech application that describe itself in twitter as

Okay, it has the same interface as twitter, right now it has no mobile app to use and its only available in desktop form so there is that. but as a mini blogger that is similar to twitter and an extension to your twitter account if you got your twitter account connected to the D.buzz it is very interesting to use twitter like a window but all of your interactions are in blockchain app.

Hopefully this is post is most helpful for you guys to branch out in the web 3.0 blockchain ecosystem. some are now fully develop but some are just in beta right now but it does need more people to test the waters with as well as debugging with. But this is a first step on phasing out big tech. I hope this helps anyone wanting to get out of big tech with these types of solutions.

We need to start the initiative on phasing out big tech in our lives replacing it or cutting out cold turkey. in the near weeks to come I will make a video review on these app so you can see what it looks like and also how it functions so be on the look out for that as well.
