In these troubled times, many will only think of accumulating wealth instead of living a simple life. A few groups are presently fighting to control the masses on this planet. Of course, they will ultimately fail and realize it when the time is right.
It's almost as if we humans have forgotten how to live and enjoy being alive. With an overwhelming avalanche of technology available at our fingertips, we sometimes tend to believe that the more we have, the better we feel. Accumulating wealth is a tricky trap. It's not what you have that's important, it's what you can do with what you have that counts. If you don't use it, you probably don't need it.
On a personal level, I got rid of 95% of my stuff, keeping only what I need. You see, many confuse the words desires and needs. Desires are the reason why we accumulate more and more. If we only give importance to our real "needs", life becomes so much easier.
My father once told me: "Son, there's no ATM on the other side." Probably the most powerful statement I've ever heard in my entire life.
Live life simply and enjoy what you have. Try to realize what your real needs are and let go of desires. It will make your life a lot simpler.
