Baul or Bauls (Bengali: বাউল) are a group of mystics from the Bengal region of South Asia, which includes Bangladesh and the Indian states of West Bengal and Tripura.
It is quite a mystery when the Bauls have originated, but the word “Baul” has appeared in Bengali texts as old as the 15th century. The word can be found in the records of Chaitanya Bhagavata of Vrindavana Dasa Thakura as well as in the Chaitanya Charitamrita of Krishnadasa Kaviraja.
The system is based on an expression of the body (deho sādhana), and an expression of the mind (mana sādhana). Some of the rituals are kept hidden from outsiders, as they might be thought to be repulsive or hedonistic. Much of the Bauls mystic energies are focused on the four body fluids and the nine-doors (openings of the body), on prakṛti as “nature” or “primal motive force”, and on breath sādhana.
So “BAUL VIBE” is like a platform or you can consider it to be a channel through which we will unfold the stories of Baul philosophy and also share content which will uplift our spiritual well-being. Most of the time spirituality is considered to be a boring mundane way of life but make no mistake, understanding the multidimensions within ourselves can liberate us towards a thrilling & exciting lifestyle.
