Political Correctness Can Kill

The PC whitewashing of almost everything in America is annoying and makes for some great jokes, but now we have two examples where political correctness has actually killed innocent people.
San Bernardino, California
Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik are the Muslim couple behind the deadly massacre which claimed 14 lives at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino in December of 2015. The pair had planned the killing for some time and may have been caught before the attack, if not for political correctness.
A neighbor did not report Farook and Malik to authorities after witnessing suspicious activity at their apartment over fears she would be labeled racist.
A worker in the area said that he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything because he did not wish to racially profile those people.
Several neighbors also became suspicious when a group of three to four Middle Easterners moved into a nearby apartment and began getting a lot of package deliveries. Yet they said nothing for fear of being called a racist.
Orlando, Florida
In the largest mass shooting in America that didn’t involve our government killing Native Americans, Omar Mateen had been the focus of terrorism investigations on several occasions, but they were dropped because of political correctness.
FBI Director Comey confirmed that there had been a full FBI investigation of Omar Mateen in 2013. The investigation was 10 months in length, and it was opened after he told his coworkers that he had family connections to Al Qaeda, that he was a member of a Shi’a terrorism organization and that he hoped law enforcement would raid his home and assault his wife so that he could then retaliate and martyr himself.
The investigation involved the use of confidential informants, surveillance of Mateen and his actions, and two interviews with the FBI. During this time, he was placed on the terror watch list, and if he had attempted to buy a firearm during that period the FBI would have been flagged to that purchase according to Fox News’ Catherine Herridge who had a closed-door meeting with Director Comey.
Mateen claimed he made the statements because he felt that his coworkers had been trying to marginalize him because of his Muslim faith. Once again, calling those who would or did report your actions, a racist, ended the investigation and allowed a radical Islamic killer to continue on a path that would cost the lives of 49 people and scar at least 53 for life.
A former High School classmate said that Mateen actually cheered as terrorists flew jumbo jets into the Twin Towers on 9/11. “But Omar was saying some really rude stuff. Stuff like, ‘That’s what America deserves.’ That kind of thing. It wasn’t right,” the former classmate said.
Mateen also drew the attention of the FBI in 2014 because of ties to U.S. suicide bomber Moner Abusalha, the son of a Palestinian father and American mother, who died on May 24, 2014, at the age of 22. Abusalha drove a truck packed with explosives into a government outpost in Syria, detonating the charge.
They attended the same Mosque, but the investigation determined that they only knew each other casually and were not close friends. Mateen did mention Moner Abusalha as well as the Boston marathon bombers to police on the phone when he pledged allegiance to the terror group ISIS.
His Wife Knew and Didn’t Alert Anyone
Omar Mateen's wife, Noor, told the FBI that she was with him when he bought ammunition and a holster for his sidearm. She also told the FBI that she once drove him to the gay nightclub, Pulse, because he wanted to scope it out.
She stated that she tried to talk him out of carrying out the attack on the nightclub, but did not warn authorities of his intentions. By keeping this to herself, she allowed the death and anguish to occur just as if she went along with him.
Karla Ray with WFTV is reporting via Twitter that Walt Disney World had contacted the FBI back in April to warn them that Mateen and his wife might have been casing the place. Why the FBI did not follow up on this is still unknown.
A federal grand jury has been convened to determine if Noor will be charged with any crimes.
Hillary Clinton’s State Department Involved
Now retired Department of Homeland Security agent Philip Haney had been running a special investigation into a movement known as Tablighi Jamaat. During the investigation, Haney uncovered numerous connections between several mosques and individuals in the U.S. with known terrorists and organizations, including Al Qaida and Hamas, amongst others.
Unfortunately, just as Haney’s investigation was making solid connections, it was shut down in a joint effort by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s State Department and the Civil Rights division of DHS, due to concerns that the investigation was unfairly targeting Muslims. This is Political Correctness at its worst.
Hampering further investigations, much of the important information and links Haney had documented were summarily deleted in 2012. Why does everything that Hillary touches end up being deleted?
Unknown if this could have prevented Omar Mateen’s killing spree, but the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce, was part of the network Haney uncovered five years ago. Haney was able to reestablish the connections that he first discovered years ago in only a few hours using the material available to anyone. That left him critical of the FBI’s efforts at previously investigating the Orlando terrorist.
“It means they didn’t go through the same basic, analytical process that I went through over a three- or four-hour period in which I was able to link the mosque to my previous cases,” he said.
Will Political Correctness Fix America’s Problems?
The Homeland Security Advisory Council submitted its Countering Violent Extremism report to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson about a week before the shooting in Orlando. The report instructs the Department of Homeland Security not to use any language that might be considered disrespectful to Muslims, including the words “jihad,” “sharia” and “takfir.”
This is how the Department of Homeland Security spends our tax money to protect us? How can we ever combat a group of people that want to rule the world at our expense by being politically correct?
Is our government trading our safety by trying to disarm or limit our access to firearms or certain types of firearms (the only ones that could be used against them) while at the same time allowing people into our country whose ideals are in direct conflict with ours?

But yet in the Quran, we find the following passages:
“And KILL them (the unbelievers) wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.” (Sura 2, verse 191).
“And whoever does not believe in Allah and His Apostle, then surely We have prepared burning fire for the unbelievers.” (Sura 48, verse 13).
A 2014 fatwa from OnIslam.net (a mainstream Islamic site) proclaimed that homosexuality is “abnormal and abhorrent” and confirmed that gays should be killed: “The punishment for men or women who are unwilling to give up homosexuality and therefore are rejecting the guidance of Allah Most High is in fact death according to Islam.” An imam invited to speak at a Florida mosque in 2016 said that killing gays was an “act of compassion”.
These views can never coexist with the American way of life, Sharia Law and the Constitution of the United States are in direct conflict with each other regardless of what politicians are trying to tell us.
I know a few people that are Muslim and they are wonderful people, but I’m tired of being told it is a religion of peace when we are constantly shown the opposite. Sure it’s only 10% or so of them, but the 90% are complicit when they stand by and do nothing, and 10% of 1.8 Billion people is pretty scary when you consider those people all want to kill you. There have been over 28,135 terrorist attacks in the name of Islam since 9/11/01, over two million people have died (including many Muslims) as these people attempt to wipe all other religions from the globe.
