Dear American Cowards

Over five thousand pages of unprecedented spending.

The latest $900 stimulus bill included over 5000 pages.

In a recent press conference, Trump spelled out a fraction of the complete bullshit that was included in the bill:

$85.5M for assistance to Cambodia
$134M to Burma
$1.3B for Egypt and the Egyptian military
$10M for gender programs in Pakistan
$505m to Belize, Costa Rica, el Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama
$40M for the Kennedy Center in Washington DC (currently closed for business)
$1B for Smithsonian
$154M for National Gallery of Art
$7M for reef fish management
$25M to combat Asian carp
$2.5M to count the number of amberjack fish in the Gulf of Mexico
$3M for poultry production technology
$2M to research the impact of downed trees
$566M for construction projects at the FBI

Oh yeah, and $600 checks to help the American people.

But what does your government do? McConnel and Schumer make a deal to block Trump’s inevitable veto of the bill. It doesn’t matter one bit that Trump called them out. They’ve done this before, and they’ll do it again. The American People will simply keep watching it happen.

The bill was completed Sunday night, and expected to be voted on by Tuesday. Not a single person could have possibly read this bill in the allotted time. For comparison, an average bible has about 1200 pages. Could you read four to five different bibles, understand them, and make a reasoned decision about next steps to take in less than two days?

And here I am treated as though I’m a complete idiot for having the audacity to suggest that we don’t need taxation, and by extension, the government to operate as a society.

“But we have to pay our taxes.”

“It’s your duty to cover the costs of a free society.”

“But without taxation, how will we ever survive?”

Fact is, we’re not surviving. We’ve already lost over 98% of the value of our currency and over 35% of the money supply has been created in the last decade. Follow that up with Stimulus One and Stimulus Two, and you’ve got a recipe for hyper-inflation.

Unchecked power.

What are people going to do about it? They’ll take their $600 complacency payment and they’ll stay quiet. There will be no uprising. There will be no mass riots. There will be no revolution.

There will be absolutely no recognition of the fact that the entire system is to blame. Individual politicians will get the blame and we’ll think that simply voting them out of office is an actual solution. Republicans will blame Democrats. Democrats will blame Republicans. The People might vote them out in the next election if they can hold this in their memory for that long.

Politicians are constantly labeled as ‘spineless’ for not standing up for the principles and platforms they were elected for. As far as I can tell, these politicians are merely a reflection of the American people they represent. If the politicians are spineless, then too are the people who voted for them.

I’m calling you out, America.

You’re too cowardly.

You’re too scared.

You’re too complacent.

If nothing changes, you deserve to lie in the bed you’ve made. I feel zero sympathy toward anyone who accepts the $600 bribe and remain complacent and inert.

The definition of insanity, as they say, is doing the same things expecting different results.

The cure is freedom, and if you truly believe in freedom, you must fire the State, not just individual politicians.
