"Iran's Faulty Strategy"
The U.S. does not use any petroleum from the Middle East. The increase in gasoline prices in the U.S. are a "Windfall Profit" for the American Petroleum Industry. Of which is part and parcel to the United States Military Industrial Complex {Reference Citation 47}.
Of which translates into the closure of the The Strait of Hormuz as feeding huge amounts of cash into the U.S. Military Industrial Complex {Reference Citation 47}, while Iran is starving itself financially because of the closure.
That perspective is discussed later in this Blog, with some reference material cited and linked in.
However, you also have to consider {Reference Citation 48} The CIA's Infiltration Of Mainstream Media. The CIA Has Infiltrated All Of The MainStream Media Outlets But the majority of journalists have NO CLUE as to who is and is not with the CIA {Reference Citation 48}.
The driving factor in the Middle East appears to be the value of the Petrodollar in the USA. But Iran does not seem to realize how they are "shooting themselves, Russia and China in the foot".
The following typical explanations for the increases of fuel prices appear to be "Logical Fallacies" and excuses. Of which is discussed, after these "typical stated reasons".
Russia, China, and Venezuela have been actively dismantling the traditional "petrodollar" system by heavily bypassing the U.S. dollar in global energy markets.

For instance, requiring pharmaceutical drugs from America to be bought exclusively with the American dollar. Specialized computer chips {including those from Taiwan} and other American technological devices to be bought with only the American dollar. And this list goes on and on.

The news medias stated typical reasons for price increases in the USA are:
Disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz immediately drive up gasoline prices globally because roughly 20% of the world's daily oil supply passes through this narrow Iranian checkpoint. Even though the U.S. relies very little on Middle Eastern imports, the market operates on a global scale; when supply shrinks, global commodity prices rise, immediately passing on increased costs to the consumer at the pump. strategy is shooting them in the foot because the windfall profits to the
American Petroleum industry fuels a whole lot of money into America's
Military Industrial Complex". And the American Petroleum is laughing all
the way to the bank.
How the Strait of Hormuz Impacts Gas Prices
- Global Supply Constraints: When conflicts or threats effectively close the strait, millions of barrels of crude oil are suddenly stranded. This sudden supply shortfall forces buyers to pay higher premiums for the remaining available oil.
- The "Rocket and Feather" Effect: Gas prices rise rapidly ("like a rocket") in response to crude oil supply shocks because retailers adjust their prices immediately to account for the cost of acquiring future shipments.
- Lagged Recovery: When the strait's situation calms down, gas prices drop much more slowly ("like a feather"). Even after geopolitical situations stabilize or shipments resume, it takes months for the global market to rebalance, meaning pump prices stay elevated for a prolonged period. [7, 8, 9]
However, the above stated reasons appear to be "Logical Fallacies"
When you consider that the United States petroleum supplies come
from within the USA itself, with some of it also supplied from companies
in Canada and Mexico.

The actual reality of what is going on becomes rather apparent when you consider {C}

Of which translates into none of the petroleum in America coming from the Strait of Hormuz.
That amounts to a "Profit Windfall" for America, Mexico and Canadian petroleum corporation. After all, the costs of actually producing and shipping petroleum has not changed that much in the USA.
All of them could pay a "Windfall Tax". If they do not like that, the USA could switch our petroleum supply to the petroleum from Venezuela. Of which will may very well do anyway.

So which petroleum companies in Canada and Mexico supply crude oil to American petroleum companies and who or which corporations own them, including subsidiaries and shell companies ?
Well that is a simple question that I expect to have a complicated and hidden true answer. After all, "Shell Corporations" are a well known method to hide who actually owns what. So I expect that the following list needs some really excellent "Investigative Journalists" to check it out.
With that in mind and before I proceed with that list of corporations, I strongly suspect that the following censored information could be of use with figuring out who really owns what {12}.

Major Canadian and Mexican petroleum companies supplying crude oil to American corporations include state-owned PEMEX (Mexico), Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNQL), Suncor Energy, and Cenovus Energy
. These companies directly export heavy crude and synthetic oil through midstream networks to major U.S. refiners like Valero, Marathon, and Phillips 66
The ownership and corporate structures behind these key suppliers are detailed below:
1. Mexico
- Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX): The state-owned national oil company is 100% owned and operated by the Government of Mexico.
- Subsidiaries & Affiliates: Operates through various subsidiaries such as Pemex Exploración y Producción, Pemex Transformación Industrial, and P.M.I. Norteamerica, S.A. de C.V. (used to trade crude abroad).
- U.S. Assets: In a move to increase state control and refining self-sufficiency, PEMEX acquired 100% ownership of the Deer Park Refinery in Texas (buying out Royal Dutch Shell's stake in 2022). The refinery is now managed under PEMEX's U.S. shell/subsidiary, Pemex Deer Park. [19, 20, 21, 22, 23]
2. Canada
- Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNQ): Canada’s largest oil and gas producer. It is a publicly traded company on the TSX and NYSE.
- Ownership: It operates under a "one-share-one-vote" structure, with major institutional holders like Capital Research & Management, the Royal Bank of Canada, and Vanguard. Founding insider N. Murray Edwards is the Executive Chair.
- Subsidiaries/Assets: Includes Canadian Natural Resources (U.S.) and the Athabasca Oil Sands Project. [24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31]
- Suncor Energy: Canada's largest integrated energy company, publicly traded (TSX/NYSE).
- Ownership: Held broadly by major global institutional investors (such as BlackRock, Vanguard, and Canadian chartered banks).
- U.S. Operations: Distributes crude to the U.S. through midstream subsidiaries and processing plants, and historically held significant retail and marketing subsidiaries. [17, 32, 33]
- Cenovus Energy: A major publicly traded Canadian oil sands producer and refiner.
- Ownership: The largest institutional shareholders typically include Dodge & Cox, Royal Bank of Canada, and various Canadian pension funds.
- U.S. Operations: Cenovus owns several U.S. refining and midstream subsidiaries and ships its crude to supply its own U.S.-based refineries and third-party American petroleum companies. [17, 26, 34]
The export market is highly integrated; Canadian and Mexican crudes travel to U.S. coastal regions via major transcontinental midstream operators like Enbridge and TC Energy. These pipelines supply American firms such as Valero Energy, Marathon Petroleum, HF Sinclair, and Phillips 66. [15, 32, 35, 36]
The Edward Snowden quote about the "Deep State" Plus The Bohemian Grove Connection
To quote Edward Snowden from an interview in 2018 {34}
As for this idea that there is a Deep State, now the Deep State is not just the intelligence agencies, it is really a way of referring to the career bureaucracy of government.{34}

What Snowden does not explain is that many of the "Deep State" are members of
various intelligence agencies in the USA. And then there are the career bureaucrats as well.
Both are very often members of and or attend gatherings at the Bohemian Grove {35}.

alludes to {34} it really does not matter if there is a Republic President or a
Democrat. "They" and the Deep State will probably get the President to do what
ever "they" want.
Besides, it is well documented that even when caught lying to Congress and or the President,
"they" are not held criminally liable very often at all.
Members of the Deep State, intel agencies and others do meet at
camp Mandalay of the Bohemian Grove. And "Although networking is
officially not allowed, some business deals can always be made behind a
couple of trees" {35}.
All of which causes me to wonder what might happen to anyone at Camp Mandalay
that does not "go along with the program ? From the two that I looked into, they
appear to be prone to strange heart attacks, strokes and brain tumors. Or maybe
hypothermia?
Examples of each cause of death with a couple of ex directors of the CIA are cited
below, with reference material cited and linked in.
And I stress the "strange" because directors of the CIA get the best medical care
in the world, on a routine basis. Not to try and start a conspiracy theory about
altered exams or tests. I mean there are plenty of conspiracy theories that could be
true. Like the CIA being able to cause a heart attack. If that is so, it would be very
ironic that a pat director of the CIA died from one. But then, sometimes a heart attack
is just a heart attack and not an assasination. But then one would think that a State Ordered
autopsy could clarify exactly what the cause of death was. Although I guess that a "perfect
storm" of hypothermia, stroke and heart attack is plausible, with the death listed as an

Key Details of the Incident
- The Disappearance: On April 27, 1996, the 76-year-old former spymaster went on a solo evening canoe trip in the choppy waters of the Wicomico River, near his weekend home in Rock Point, Maryland. [ 38, 39]
- The Discovery: His green fiberglass canoe was found capsized on a sandbar the following day, but Colby himself was missing. After an intensive nine-day search involving divers, helicopters, and sonar, his body was found on May 6, 1996, in a marshy riverbank near where the canoe had foundered. [ 38, 39, 40, 41, 42]
- The Cause of Death: A state autopsy concluded that Colby had suffered a sudden stroke or heart attack,
- collapsed into the water, and subsequently died from drowning and hypothermia. The death was officially ruled an accident. [41, 43]
Now one would think that a state autopsy could conclude if Colby had suffered a sudden stroke or a heart attack?
But then I am just a lazy independent researcher and you will have to figure that one out for yourself.
Who knows, maybe it was hypothermia?
This also caused me to consider what happened to William Joseph Casey (March 13, 1913 – May 6, 1987).
He was the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1981 to 1987. In this capacity he oversaw the entire
United States Intelligence Community and personally directed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
throughout much of the Reagan administration {36}.
Casey was called to testify before Congress about his knowledge of the "Iran Contra Affair".
On 15 December 1986, one day before Casey was scheduled to testify before Congress,
Casey suffered two seizures and was hospitalized. Three days later, Casey underwent
surgery for a previously undiagnosed brain tumor. {36}
While hospitalized, Casey died less than 24 hours after former colleague Richard Secord
testified that Casey supported the illegal aiding of the Contras. {36}
