Who is God?
We are told in scripture that God is out side of what we as humans call and perceive as time. We are souls placed in flesh on the Earth. We have physical attributes that we use to interact with a physical world. Our eyes see light reflected, we hear with our ears, touch with our hands, and we understand our world in four known space-time dimensions of length, width, height and time. God is out side of this, he is eternal. God is not confined with time and space as we know it.
Our souls that come from God are also eternal. Death from this physical world is but a point in our perpetual existence. Think about it, we are made flesh and God who is eternal breathed the spirit or breath of life in us. The soul/spirit/ breath of God comes from God; who is, was and will always be. From Gods perspective there is no past present future. As I have stated before we are in the final heaven and Earth talked about in scripture, which means we don’t need to be saved from this world. We don’t need to go through his son to have access to God, Jesus came, completed his work, the final sacrifice for the flesh. For this reason, God no longer weighs our flesh in the balance, there is no more law, which means no sin because sin was simply breaking the law.You can pray to father God the creator of all things and if you quiet your heart and mind he will speak to you.
Many Christians today want to put God in this neat little box, where he is confined by time and space. You have to understand that he is greater than how your mind conceives him. Many people around the world argue about how God came about, because something can’t come from nothing right? Christians too like to use this point on the atheist saying how can the big bang just come from nothing.
Let me point something out that maybe you haven’t thought of. God is eternal and he gives us our soul which is also eternal. We are an eternal soul that comes from an eternal God. When we die we leave our physical bodies and become spiritual beings, what the bible calls our glorified body. Death is nothing more than a transition from one state to another. God is spirit, he is not bound by time or space, this is how he has always been. He can’t be created if he is eternal, past present future all in one. He is the past, the present and the future. Think about the infinity symbol, this is God, there is no beginning and no ending. Because there is no beginning or ending and he is eternal without time and space he simply is. You can’t be created if you are the infinite, past, present, and future.
It’s hard as humans to wrap our minds around things out of our physical perspective. Besides God being eternal he is also love. Everything he created and everything he does is purely out of who he is. Scripture tells us he is the same forever, he does not change. Our physical bodies will pass away some day, we all must leave this world. But that doesn’t have to be a scary thing, remember we have eternal souls that go on forever. We can’t even fathom the wonders and experience we have waiting for us for all of eternity. Death from this physical world is not the end so don’t be afraid. When we leave this earth, I believe all will be explained and we will understand the meaning of it all. God has created an entire never-ending universe for us, a whole spiritual realm that we can’t even in our wildest dreams imagine, there are so many great things we still have to do and experience. God loves us all as his children!
God created Earth for us to enjoy while we are here. There is so much more to our existence than just the physical part. Yet, so many want to leave, praying for God to come soon and pass judgement on a wicked world. Which makes no since because when a loved one dies it’s all why God, I hate you God. We don’t understand scripture that has been twisted so we never know what we want, we blame God, we pass judgement on fellow humans, we hate life. We all miss the big picture because we are blind by this horrible thing called religion. We should be enjoying each other, taking in this physical experience, exploring and taking in this beautiful creation.
Why spend your whole earthly life following what other people say just because that’s how things are, just go with the flow, don’t cause any ripples. Countless people have left this earth never knowing what God really wants from us. People spend their entire lives serving in church, attending, preaching, going on missionary trips to pass out bibles and spread the word. It makes me sad to see anyone waste their life spreading the wrong message. The message of Christianity is hate, division, rules and laws that make life the way God created it miserable. The only thing we need to spread is that God already saved us, he already said yes because he loves us so much. God is infinite love. He has already taken away sins of he flesh through his physical self as Jesus. He was able to be Jesus yet still be God because he is not confined by time. He came took away the flesh, he doesn’t see it, he is only concerned with the spirit now. The spirit is our conscience, who we are, the real you that only you and God knows. The creator of it all is past,present,future, all loving and eternal, he is all around us and in us all. ~~~The Far Side~~~
