In Mocos, you took on three very distinct roles—President Elenor Chaparro, the Sneezing Bunny, and Dancer Judy. How did you approach transitioning between such vastly different characters, both tonally and physically, within the same project?
It was a blast. Dancing is one of my favorite things to do in life so using my jazz dancing and freestyle skills was fun for me and I liked stepping out of the presidential role to do this. Also, the sneezing bunny was different in that it was specifically for the music video to fit in with the whole theme of the virus in the movie "Mocos". As for the President role, I enjoyed delivering the news in a serious tone which fit in well with the whole theme of the movie getting people excited about this strange illness going around. I was very glad I was cast in the dancer roles in addition to the President role so I could show more of what I can do and break the seriousness mold.
As for The Tardins comedy movie, I enjoyed the role very much. Hazel is a sexy dominatrix who enjoys belittling men and it was fun to play and had us laughing on set. It was really funny that the family members in the story caught me doing this which made it even more humorous. The challenge for that role was playing the Aunt to some older men when I was expecting them to be teenage boys on set. How did you adjust to that surprise and make the dynamic work on screen?
The challenge for that role was playing the Aunt to some older men when I was expecting them to be teenage boys on set. I had studied the script after accepting the role and kept imagining kids showing up to play the nephews and friends so when it was older men, it was a surprise. I actually have older half nieces and nephews in my real life so it is possible for an aunt to be younger than her nieces and nephews for sure, but it was unexpected so I needed to make that adjustment in my mind immediately. We made it work though and I think the scenes will get some laughs and I look forward to the release of the movie soon. We all played members of a crazy family so I'm sure some people can really identify with it. I enjoyed working with this cast and crew very much.
Playing an MIB Agent in Lord Timmy & The Mystery of the Last Master seems like a departure from more grounded roles. What was it like stepping into a sci-fi/action environment during filming?
It was great! I have actually been in many sci fi movies and tv shows and it's always one of my favorite genres to work in. My role was an agent, Donna Klein, who was having a relationship with one of the other characters so my character switched from being a serious agent to a playful girl in love with cute names for her counterpart. We filmed some great scenes in the mountains and in Santa Cruz at locations that were perfect for this. I'm excited to be in this and can't wait for it to get released!
You recently had the role of Francesca Buchanon in the movie "Time Zone." How did it feel to return to work with director Matt Reaves after collaborating on "Constitutional Justice" in 2020?
I recently had the role of Francesca Buchanon in the movie "Time Zone" and absolutely loved it! This is a great movie with an exciting plot that audiences will love. My role was a serious and firm agent who issued strange missions to those working for me. I had worked with this same director, Matt Reaves. as a talk show host, Linda Thomas, in a tv show called "Constitutional Justice" back in 2020 so it was great to work with this incredible director again. This full length feature movie "Time Zone" will definitely satisfy audiences when it gets released so stay tuned for this one.

Currently I am acting in an action movie called "Drive Safe" playing the lead role of Rose Lovejoy, a vengeful woman avenging her husband's death. What can you share about preparing for and shooting this intense lead role?
Currently I am acting in an action movie called "Drive Safe" playing the lead role of Rose Lovejoy, a vengeful woman avenging her husband's death. This full length feature movie is being directed by Shawn Flanagan, the same director who cast me in in the Amazon Prime movie "The Ghost of Annie Lee" as Darby Lee. It's great working with him again and we will be busy filming this for the next four months or so. Stay tuned!
