Interview with Kailyn Andrews
Kailyn Andrews, thank you for this interview. My readers might not know much about you. Your career is impressive. Can you tell us a story on how you got your start in entertainment, and what got you into producing? https://www.imdb.com/name/nm12313266/
I started my acting in 2012 when I was 8 when I did plays as a actress. December 2018, I started modeling when I did my first runway show and photo shoot in Brentwood, TN when I was 13 years old. In April 2020, I got my first ever audition when I auditioned for the role of Amy Woods in the web series Sonder. I didn’t get the part but I was grateful that I got to audition. In April 2020, I booked my first voice-over role for a web series. In December 2020, I booked my first television series as a guest star in the series Hero Battles.
In December 2021, I auditioned for the role of Hanna Stockton for the upcoming project, The Intentionality Of Inclusion directed by Brandon Young. A few weeks later, I got a message saying that I got the part! I was so excited because this was my first time ever filming an acting job. When I went to film in March 2022, (a week after my 17th birthday) and it was the best experience ever! I got to work with a amazing cast and crew! And since then, I’ve been auditioning and booking roles since.
Do you have a story you wish everyone knew? Could you share it with us?
When I got the audition for the role of Hanna, I didn’t have a script to memorize for the audition because when I auditioned, the film was either in development or in pre production so they didn’t have a script yet. So I came up with the idea of writing my own script for the audition. And that’s how I picked up writing.
Can you talk about your project currently in prepoduction The Truth About Monsters (pre-production)and which platform or television channel will show it?
So the truth about monsters is an upcoming feature film directed by Preston Walden and I’ll play one of the trafficked girls in the film. As of right now, I’m not sure where the film will be released on but I’m hoping we find out soon.
Can you talk about any current movie being released The Intentionality of Inclusion?
In this amazing project, I got to play Hanna Stockton a girl with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in The Intentionality Of Inclusion. The film is about 4 teens talking about how they can cope with moving forward. You can watch the film on CubeStream.
What can you tell us about which project you had the most fun on and a story about that project?
I had fun on the set of The Intentionality Of Inclusion because I got to hang with the best cast and crew and I had so much fun on set. A story that happened to me was me, Maggie (Ashlyn Carol) and Brandon )Kasey Servill) we’re filming the hallway scene and we got done filming and one of the producers almost hit me with the boom mic.
Can you tell us who or what inspires you as an entertainer?
The people who inspire me is my parents, my grandparents, Emma Watson, Adam Sandler, Zendaya, Augustin Chiper, and Tim Burton
Can you tell a story about your other work or what is next?
Well as of right now, my next upcoming projects are Ranger Stone and The Truth About Monsters. I have other projects in which I’ll be announcing soon.
Who are some people in entertainment that you have worked with?
I have worked with Augustin Chiper who’s known for The Box in the Basement which is on Tubi TV.
Dreams: what are your dreams? Meaning who or what project would you hope to work with or be a part of in the future?
My dreams is to star in a Disney/Pixar movie, and to star in a major action film series.

I don’t really do any charity work. But if I had charities I would love to work for, I would love to help with Mental health.
What advice would you give aspiring actors/actresses?
To don’t give up on your dreams. You can do anything that you want to do in life, as long as you work hard for it and believe in yourself.

How long I’ve been acting and modeling for?
I’ve been acting for almost 9 years and I’ve been modeling and voice acting for almost 4 years.
