I don't know what happened to Forbes, but it looks like "woke" activists wear it like a skin suit:
This article was written by a black woman who identifies as "college professor" in "counseling". How in the world is that a branch of education taught at college level? š¤ She also claims to be an expert on mental health. Really?
She is angry about the fact that someone made a joke about black woman's hair. She's not really angry about a black man punching another black man. As she proudly points out, the entire Oscar event was produced by a black man with an entirely black team. Which, to me, sounds kind of racist and non-inclusive.

So whom does she blame for this bad joke by a black man and the public violence by another black man punching him in the face, at a show organized by black people?
White people, obviously!!!
Yes, that's right - not a single white person was involved in any capacity, but it's white people's fault!
She commiserates with Will Smith: "He also shared that he has had to turn the other cheek in previous incidents in which he felt disrespected"
Ah, "disrespected" - that's the kind of thing that members of street gangs see as justification for violence: "I had to shoot him, he disrespected me".
Will Smith suffered horribly under white oppression because his family was extremely rich and because he was forced to act like any other civilized person of any race or ethnicity - Asian, white, Jewish, Hispanic or black - in a professional environment.
Because that's just part of civilization, but it's oppression, to Will Smith. Him and the author of this article think that it is outrageous and racist to expect a black man to behave decently and have impulse control.
So let's blame Hollywood - which is far left and has been promoting black people and anti-racism since the 1960s - but let's just ignore this fact and assign some random racist labels:

This horrible, racist industry offered Will Smith the opportunity to become an international celebrity and to accumulate more than $250 million, making him one of the richest people on the planet. If earning that kind of wealth demands some efforts and concessions and he thinks that this is too much, he might want to remember that most people have to deal with far worse conditions for ridiculously small salaries. And that those conditions apply to all, irrespective of race.

Well yes, when you are violent and aggressive to the point of punching someone who made a bad joke, then you are angry and aggressive, by definition!
So the real issue is that to Will Smith, acting out and punching people seems to be the "natural" thing... He just affirmed every stereotype people might hold about black people. Note that I said "affirmed", not "confirmed". He still speaks just for himself.
But there definitely are issues that need to be addressed - one of them being that the people at BLM urgently need to work on their math skills. This is directly from their Instagram page. They actually thought that these numbers would "fight the stereotypes"....
Yes, it's about that famous statistic, the 13/50. 13% of the population commit more than 50% of all homicides and robberies. Strangely, since the black population in London, UK, reached 13%, they also commit almost 50% of all homicides:

Given these statistics, Will Smith should have aspired to be a better model for young black people and not practice black-on-black violence on stage.
Being part of a civilized society means that we cannot act on our impulses and that applies to everyone!
Black people do not get an exception that would allow them to act out violently just because they don't like some constraints imposed on them by society while pretending that they are being singled out.

This should not be surprising, given the Marxist origin of the movement. Marxists cannot tolerate the idea that any outcome that they do not consider as "fair" should be justified in any way. As they are always hypocrites, it's perfectly fair for Castro to live like a billionaire, but Elon Musk is a "parasite" for owning a large number of shares in a company he founded.
