Democrats pretend to be the party of anti-racism, of "minorities" - and by that, they already tell you that they are the party of IDENTITY POLITICS, i.e. the party that puts people into random categories and then creates division among those categories and exploits the resulting conflict.
Trump never had ANY connection with the KKK - he left the Reform Party when David Duke joined and said he wanted nothing to do with such a bigot and racist:
Trump is THE most pro Jewish president in history. His daughter converted to Judaism, so his grandchildren are Jews.
I shouldn't have to mention it, but the KKK and Nazis hate Jews, so naturally, Trump was not exactly someone they were going to support.

The Dixicrats did not "split off" from the Democrats - they tried to run their own party, then they RETURNED to the Democrats in 1948!
