Description:

V-D603 is a set of metal ball and chains with as of yet undecipherable runes etched into the metal. Weight is approximately the same as mundane metal of the same size and shape, though when asked for a comparison, people invariably say V-D603 is substantially heavier.

Being a set of equipment normally designed to impede movement, it achieves that in addition to its effects, just like an identical set without the effects. However, it also has a matching key which shows no detectable abnormal effects. The key is the only thing that can attach or detach V-D603, and as such should be carefully managed with the rest of V-D603.

Combat and Abilities:

It has shown no ability to transport itself, nor effects on anyone not in physical contact.

When in physical contact with a subject, deliberate movement becomes sluggish. This applies to a near universal degree, whereby even actions like falling or swinging a hammer in a downward motion are substantially slower than normal. This effect applies to state of mind, as the person being affected is perfectly calm, bordering on outright boredom, no matter what might surround them. Startling someone wearing V-D603 has, at the time of this writing, proven all but impossible. This, combined with abnormally slow movements, allows for extremely precise movements. Applications of this are still under review, though presumably anything requiring a steady hand could benefit from these effects.

TEST LOG:

Test 1: Subject wore V-D603 for thirty minutes. Subject was provided sketching equipment, and spent the time drawing a portrait. Afterward, the subject noted their results were superior to what they could usually achieve. While promising, this result is inconclusive.

Test 2: Subject wore V-D603 for two hours. The effects lingered after removal, approximately for five minutes. This is a worrying development, as the subject did not express any concern whatsoever, due to the effects. It would be incredibly easy for an individual to fail to remove V-D603 without proper supervision.

Test 3: Subject wore V-D603 for [REDACTED] hours. Due to [REDACTED], all further testing has been suspended until further notice.

Conclusion:

V-D603 is dangerous, but that danger is well within the capacity to manage. Once further analysis has been completed, it is recommended that testing be resumed. However, the [REDACTED] auxiliary effects must be properly cataloged and considered before testing can be continued.
