TO POWER OF HYPNOSIS

There are two ways of being hypnotized. The good way and the bad way. I will start first with the bad way of being hypnotized. We are being bombarded with propaganda everyday in society usually unaware of it because most people are not aware of themselves. I am not speaking about a political party in any way. But propaganda comes out in politics as well as education, the food industry, our medical system, the military complex and the list goes on. People have been fed into an agenda and not ever being aware of it. In the old book, “Propaganda” By Edward Bernays (Sigmund Freud’s nephew) he stated, "If we understand the mechanisms and motives of the group mind, it is now possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing it in every aspect of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind." ~ Edward Bernays. Our mind is literally like a computer. The people in power have brainwashed the masses without the people even being aware of it, is like a total virus download, very difficult to clean up and once it is in the mind as a belief in something or someone the person has a very difficult time to see things differently. To change this, each individual needs to acknowledge that they do not know everything and that their is a possibility that they have been duped. They have to be willing to let go of what they believe and challenge themselves to let go of how they were taught.

The advocacy of what we believe in is education. The advocacy of what we don't believe in is propaganda." ~ Edward Bernays

I believe what allows people to be vulnerable to propaganda and brainwash is, people have given their power to someone else or some thing. Some people will sacrifice their essence/power for money or for a name. They do not have power for themselves to question, to challenge, to go against the grains of society. Why do people join cults? Because they have given their power to someone else, just like they do with religions, political parties, education, leaderships and so forth.

No real power is outside of themselves. You can control others in hopes of having power, but it means they are weak as they have to get it from someone else. All true power is within and you can access that through modalities such as hypnosis–which is a place to heal and to get their power/essence back again. So the good side of hypnosis, when someone wants to have a session with a hypnotist or hypnotizing themselves, they are taking their power back or enhancing the power they already have.

When I was going to Hypnosis School I told the teacher that I was afraid of being out of control. He responded by saying, “Hypnosis brings you back into control". Meaning, Hypnosis brings you back into your power and essence within you.
